How you can help your #gaming loving kids/siblings/friends using #PlayToEarn #p2e

A thread of what I’ve done with my 17yo gaming addicted brother. For this example I’m using @ThetanArena and their game/ecosystem 🎮

Every family has that one gamer child who much prefers being infront of his/her computer/phone/console than spending time irl.

I’ve got one who completes newly bought games in 48 hours😅 the grind doesn’t stop for him. He’s got dark matter skins on all weapons in COD…IFKYK 👇🏼

I came across $THG @ThetanArena and long story short I’m an investor but also a player (in many #p2e games).

I showed the game to my brother and he really liked it because when he was growing up he used to play #BrawlStars

So he created an account and we done some maths 👇🏼

#thg is the governance token (main investment hold) and #thc is the in-game currency earned when you play. At the time of writing this THC price is $0.05.

I gave him $110 (and some more for gas)

At that point buying a THC-earning character was done on the marketplace using wbnb

Due to a problem with his wallet it took ages to wrap bnb but it worked out in his favour. @ThetanArena had been working on stabilising the price of the in-game currency THC and as a result meant that purchases of characters were now done using THC. 👇🏼

Because THC had dropped in price it meant that instead of one character for $100 he bought 2 for ~$90 (common hero)

He bought:
•Veinka - which had 232 playable games
•Raidon - which had 226 playable games

Rewards for game results:
Win 9.25 THC
Draw 2 THC
Lose 1 THC

Maths part (based on 100% win rate with 1 character)

Investment ~$50. THC price $0.05

232 games x 9.25 THC = 2146thc

2146thc x 0.05= $107.3

That’s a cool 114% return on investment ($57.3 profit) 🔥

Of course this is based on how good you really are. In my brothers case he was top 500 in the world on brawlstars so his % win would be high.

Even at 75% wins and 25% loss the return is 66% of investment ($33 profit)

So imagine this at scale.

Now, one more key point 👇🏼

At different times there will be incentives like box sales or events that require THC to be purchased. This buying pressure drives up the price and if you’ve hodl’d THC & it’s now at $0.07 your 2146 THC is now worth $150 instead of the $107 earned.

So now my brother who doesn’t want to be on YouTube or stream on twitch and just wants to play games can earn money from doing so.

We are still super early in the #p2e side of things and I genuinely believe this is revolutionary.
