To all the creators in our community impacted by the 50 item limit we added to our free minting tool, we hear you and we're sorry.

We have reversed the decision.
But we also want to offer an explanation ↯
Every decision we make, we make with our creators in mind. We originally built our shared storefront contract to make it easy for creators to onboard into the space.
However, we've recently seen misuse of this feature increase exponentially.
Over 80% of the items created with this tool were plagiarized works, fake collections, and spam.
We didn't make this decision lightly. We made the change to address feedback we were receiving from our entire community.
However, we should have previewed this with you before rolling it out.
In addition to reversing the decision, we’re working through a number of solutions to ensure we support our creators while deterring bad actors.

We commit to previewing these changes with you in advance of rolling them out. Please give us feedback along the way.

Before:
Our search systems were not correctly ranking accounts and collections in the search dropdown.

What we did to fix it:
1. We improved how accounts are ranked and changed how we handle repeating words when searched.

2. Searching keywords in collections names w/o spaces, for instance, "punks" will now show up as the intended "CryptoPunks” result. Image
3. We updated our account searching ranks. Image

We know airdropped items have been getting out of control and spamming your profiles over the last few days.

Well, we have just the update ↯
All items transferred from verified collection will be publicly visible on your profile by default.

However, all transferred items from unverified collection will now be located in the hidden tab of your profile account by default. Image
If you want the hidden transferred item to be publicly displayed, you can always unhide it from your profile.

Tap on the three dots at the top of the asset, and click on unhide. Image
