MDC-T fights have predictable spilled into the courts over money.
However, all indications thus far, are the regime has choosen the Dougie faction, something MaKhupe predicted on her presser
State institutions may very well pounce on her this time around
2] Embarrassingly, none between Mwonzora & Khupe are legitimate recipients of the 2018 PPFA funds.
The MaKhupe MDC-T that participated in 2018 didn't get enough votes.
Mwonzora meanwhile manufactured "2014" structures to form a party, post the infamous Supreme Court judgement.
3] On the part of the regime, the rational is arming any faction that can assist in dismembering Chamisa.
No need to beat about the busy, democracy is expensive, & a party needs funds
The motivation for ZanuPF is ensure the alternative is hamstrung while oiling Mwonzora's group
4] There's no basis whatsoever, to claim Mwonzora & Khupe fights are being stagemanaged.
There's no way their fight can be seen as calculated to impact Chamisa, more so when he has now abandoned the MDC name fight.
Theirs is a complete game of thrones, over power & money.
5] Meanwhile, ZanuPF is making silly threats over the "yellow".
Their claim over ownership of the color has no legal nor political basis whatsoever.
It's just a reactionary statement from an institution taking the CCC seriously, and rightfully so.
Chamisa can't be blueticked.
6] Charamba & the CIOs meanwhile, are desperately trying to entangle CCC into legal fights.
Many would recall that the "citizens converge" mantra was initiated by NC.
The regime predictably jumped on it, as a stop gate measure, though they banked on NC fighting for the MDC name
7] For the sake of context, political parties don't get registered in Zimbabwe.
ZEC by accepting CCC candidates has recognised its existence
The 'citizens converge for change' CIO 'party', by not participating in any political processes, has simply exposed its own non-existence
8] The Mwonzora outfit, after years daring Chamisa to "form your own party" is desperately trying to entangle him & team, once again, in MDC fights.
In the Daily News story below, MDC-T has persisted with the embarrassing claim that CCC candidates belong to MDC-T/MDC-A party.
9] In terms of context, here's why the claims are extremely embarrassing:
Firstly, they 'recalled' these people for nolonger representing their (MDC-T) party's interests & abandoning it for what they called a "nameless party".
They even labeled their expulsions "automatic".
10] Secondly, the MDC-T maintains "MDC-A was never a party, but a coalition"
Consequently, individuals cannot belong to a coalition, except its member parties
How then can CCC individual candidates belong to a 'coalition' (MDC-A) or MDC-T after their "automatic self expulsion"?
11] Here's what we should understand:
Firstly, we've all hopefully learnt thus far, that we are dealing with shameless individuals, benefiting from captured state institutions
Wouldn't be surprised at all, seeing these people attempt to pursue their claims at the courts.
12] Secondly, Mwonzora's outfit after years of enjoying boardroom politics, is dreading being exposed at the polls.
Their best shot was at isolating & relegating NC, in MDC fights.
Mwonzora now nolonger knows what to do with his envisioned court fight with NC, over the MDC name
13] Secondly, the Mwonzora outfit is attempting to simply bank on "yellow apathy."
Imagine being made to believe that "if you vote for your preferred candidates, we'll simply recall them again".
They want to politically disenfranchise yellow citizens through misinformation.
14] One wonders what DM envisioned as his endgame?
The "wakavhoterwa nani" mantra which he labeled "propaganda" is catching up with him
Now he wants to "speed up dialogue" so as to bank on what remains of his court constructed politically relevance
The stolen robes are falling
15] As the yellow fever grips the republic, they are becoming desperate...
Mwonzora and these other outfits are just pawns in the regime's attempt to dismantle the citizens' project
Yet in all this madness, "we thank God, we the citizens still have ourselves".

"This afternoon we approached ZEC to give them what they didn't except. They thought we were approaching as MDC-A, but we were approaching as a new organisation. They kept insisting, we know you as MDC-A. We are a new organisation."
"We are coming as a new entity, with a new leadership, new values, new structures. ZEC kept saying: 'tell us you're rebranding'. We are not rebranding. If you know MDC as a brand, please dine with those you've given the name MDC-ALLIANCE."
"We are starting a new party. Nothing to do with the past, nothing to do with the yesterday. We are starting afresh. We'll build from ground zero. We will start afresh. We will defeat them like we did in 2018. We will start afresh."
Truth is, the ructions & consequent split of the judicial construct comes as no surprise.
From the get to, faulty lines where always there for all to see.
The MDC-T never had an ideology foundation nor identifiable political constituency to build on.
MDC-T was reconstructed by the regime for the sole purpose of disrupting MDC-A political programs
ZanuPF attempted different ideas aimed at dismantling MDC-A & isolating NC.
Reconstructing MDC-T was part of those efforts to leave the MDC-A internally focused
3] On their part, those who jumped to the reconstructed MDC-T had two things in common.
Firstly, they had all lost different positions (save for Mupariwa), at the Gweru Congress.
Secondly, they all wanted the puppet party Presidency.
"..they speak of deprivation; general poverty; families going for weeks without access to a single dollar; frustrations over lack of access to seeds & fertilisers; enduring political manipulation. Its not a pleasing picture"
"We always communicate hope, that it is within our power to change the condition of our people & ourselves. That it is the essence of democracy that we don't need to take guns or fight anyone. All we need it to be committed to the democratic processes."
"No matter how difficult the processes are made out to be, we need to keep encouraging people and traditional leaders to encourage their people to register to vote & seek peaceful transition, that their vote will count one day and that we'll have change."
"Nomination court is coming. We've candidates. We've 2 months before by-elections & that's more than enough. That's almost the same period between which the party changed its name to MDC-A. Pple will be told, & have no confusion around who their leaders are"
"People know that Pres @nelsonchamisa is the leader of our movement. People know the real @mdczimbabwe leaders who were recalled; those who are with them in the communities; those who continue to champion their rights. They've no confusion about that. "
" Be patient. The strategy will unfold. We are dealing with a very sophisticated dictatorship. It's critical to remember this isn't the first time the MDC has had to deal with these issues. It's be done in the past & we've learnt many lesson."
"I do not belong to any of your (MDC-T) structures. I hope you will assist by removing my name. I do not want to embarrass myself, itβs better to continue with my work in council than to get two votes."
" I cannot stand for Mwonzora. They do not know me and I have never attended any of their meetings. I am not part of them and I wonβt do that. Of course, I am popular in the ward, but I cannot represent Mwonzora.β
