@RahulGandhi posted welcome tweets that had “neutral” twitter & journalists salivating as “this is leader we need”. Words mean nothing if it doesnt translate to actions. This thread highlights contrast between words and their governance in CG (my home state). Full majority/power.
Against BJP’s hate politics. Now let’s discuss Dharm Sansad in Raipur which had all the footprints of involvement of congress leaders in the event. #NoHate

Comment on how BJP is creating hate factory. In Raipur, capital city, former Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh's son Abhishek Singh. "Jab Kat*e kaate jaayenge Ram Ram Chillaayenge" slogan is raised. No NSA and UAPA by police, he is not jailed. Image
Munawar Faruqui’s show being cancelled all around India. Well, it was cancelled in Raipur (full power, full police under them)#StayUnited scroll.in/latest/1010275… Image
Environment protection, lol. Please follow journalist from CG, @AlokPutul to understand how they are looting CG of its natural resources.

Speaking out against hate crimes by hidden terrorists, where muslim women were targeted. Two instances of open calls for boycotting muslim employees and business have come up within last 2 months. No UAPA or #NoFear. Image
So many proactive tweets on what should be done for employee safety. Right protective equipment for doctors. Sure, how about other life-threatening jobs? (TW) Here is a heart-wrenching news of a contract employee death. Image
Condolence tweet on Late Sh. Shanti Devi, who worked for education of adivasi students. Congress manifesto 2018 promised PESA act, giving power to adivasis here, and 3 years after their governance and multiple agitations – a few meetings with 0 action. newsclick.in/has-congress-r… Image
So many tweets on farmers fight and dignity. Here, in Raipur, farmers are sitting for 20 days for their rehabilitation. This issue dates back to 2006, unheard by BJP but it was one of the poll-promise by congress in 2018. thequint.com/news/india/eve… Image
Oh, so many tweets on farmers protest and welfare of farmers. CG, like most states in India, is sitting on a ticking time bomb of lack of water for agriculture due to lack of irrigation infrastructure. no new irrigation project because this.
The famous tweet on Feb 12, 2020 as a warning for COVID. On March 17, 2020, in the midst of the second wave, they allowed half capacity for a cricket match – turned out to be a mega spreader event. (Sachin, Irfan, Yuvraj, all had tested +ve after that)
mykhel.com/cricket/road-s… Image
Rahul Gandhi on right to protest. Protestors were literally shot at (open fired) and 3 were killed in CG: scroll.in/latest/995405/… Image
On MSP, again so many tweets. In CG, average rice production is ~26-27 quintal/acre. MSP is given for first 15 quintal at rs 2500/quintal and not all. Rest is sold at around rs 1100/quintal. So many costs have increased now (jute bags that were free in mandis now cost rs 50 each)
Congress backing liberals wont comment on these as their leader at least "tweeted". Tell that to those sitting in roads whose ancestral land in CG has been destroyed. This came up at chill sessions with @RKCERTIFIED, @indian_nagrik, @Arun2981, @priyankaaap23, @SanjayAzadSln
There is a reason why congress and RG face trust deficit. Twitter is virtual, life is real and actions taken in real life matters.
March 17, 2021*. CG started appearing in top 5 of most affected states. Yes, they were not hiding the numbers that much but still for such small state with low international connectivity was due to this super spreader event. We suffered, we died because cricket was allowed.

Example of a system @AamAadmiParty is here to change:

In 1959, my grandfather lost his first wife and daughter (on way 2 hospital) as they could not reach govt hosptl in time on bullock cart which was 28 kms away. In 1963, my dad was born in that same hospital (28 kms away)
In 1991, I was born in the same hospital (28 kms away). In 2022, my cousin who still stays in the village, had his daughter in a pvt hospital, guess where?(yes, 30 kms away but not in govt one as it is in ruins with doctors working in pvt). NOTHING changed for us in past 63 years
There has been 1 government hospital within 8 kms of my village since 2007, but there are no doctors or staff most days. People dont know (hence dont vote on) that its the responsibility of govt to provide healthcare and Congress-BJP political nexus want to keep it like that.

- where will the money come from, will it lead to inflation
(1/2)
- targeted vs un-targeted distribution
- countries where the study was done
- instead of giving cash, why not invest for jobs
