zkEVM inherits properties from the EVM model like the one in Ethereum to run arbitrary Solidity code on a zk-rollup
This allows the large dev community of Ethereum to deploy existing dapps and infrastructure on it, without major changes

@0xPolygon zkEVM was built by @0xPolygonHermez team & leverages plonky2, the fastest ZK tech
- Permisionless & fully open-source
- Plans to use ETH as default native gas
