I like how Whoopi Goldberg (Caryn Johnson) pretended to be Jewish for years because she liked the stage name she gave herself. Now she’s all “Jews aren’t a race, they’re white, and the Holocaust was just y’all white on white violence.”

She picked the name Goldberg because she thought her real name Caryn Johnson wasn’t “Jewish enough” for her to make it in Hollywood. She faked being a Jew to get some of what she considered to be Jewish privilege. This is a woman who, while talented, is completely insecure.

Henry Louis Gates Jr. did a whole genealogy thing on Whoopi and found absolutely no Jewish ancestry whatsoever, contrary to the claims she likes to tell people about her “Jewishness.”

Whoopi Goldberg is the Rachel Dolezal of black people pretending to be Jews.
