I just don't understand how so many brains are locked into this narrative. Do I see too far one way through my lens? Sure. But to be on the polar opposite side arguing that conservatives in our nation are trying to "end freedom" is just so Twilight Zone.

I like Tom. I've followed him a long time because I think he's smart and adds interesting stuff to the commentary. Does a mind this intelligent truly believe in some alt-right force ready to usurp elections and end freedom? Or is it posturing? I cant help but conclude the latter.
The obvious other side of this coin is it ignores the team that is pushing needles and masks on people contrary to their will, taking this decision from parents, censoring voices that are discussing otherwise. All happening. But it's not that tension I was interested in here...

I fear to think where this narrative takes us. The Truman Show has proven it can lead hordes off cliffs. Scumbags who once called themselves journalists have taken this as far as phrasing involving "Red Army" and of course our own government fancies "insurrection".
