The One-Sentence Persuasion Course: Explained

With Examples

Thread๐Ÿ‘‡
You can't spend a week on Money Twitter without catching a reference to The One-Sentence Persuasion Course.

How's it go?๐Ÿ‘‡
"People will do anything for those who encourage their dreams, justify their failures, allay their fears, confirm their suspicions and help them throw rocks at their enemies."

Now, here's what I know about you...
You read that sentence.

Then you read it again.

And again. And again.

Each go around, you're trying to imagine how each persuasion lesson looks.

This time, you don't have to.๐Ÿ‘‡
Let me show you some real-life examples of The One-Sentence Persuasion Course THAT WORK.

We're going to rip 'em right off the sales page of my subscription product The Best Way Newsletter.

Let's GOOOOOOOO๐Ÿ‘‡
Encourage Their Dreams, Example:

"Imagine how much better everything is when you become proficient in these...

- The Best Way To Write Sales Copy
- The Best Way To Write Email Subject Lines
- The Best Way To Convert Readers Into Clients"๐Ÿ‘‡
Justify Their Failures, Example:

"Most courses are fluff. Hours of crap for 2 minutes of gold.

We feel overwhelmed, so we get behind.

The Best Way newsletter fixes both ... No logins. No watching videos. Just open the newsletter on your phone. You can do that."๐Ÿ‘‡
Allay Their Fears, Example:

"This newsletter is one of the best time-savers for your business. It ensures you are consistently learning and improving but without committing yourself to long courses, books, or mastermind calls."๐Ÿ‘‡
Confirm Their Suspicions, Example:

"In The Best Way newsletter, the step-by-step is right there. Youโ€™ll even get a 'You know youโ€™re doing this right when' checklist so you donโ€™t just consume . . . you ACT!"๐Ÿ‘‡
Help Them Throw Rocks At Their Enemies, Example:

"The sooner you join, the faster you get ahead of the competition trying to persuade your prospects to buy from them instead."

Now check this out...๐Ÿ‘‡
Hypnosis offers a powerful Persuasion Multiplier you can add to your sales copy.

It plays well with The One-Sentence Persuasion Course.

And here it is.๐Ÿ‘‡
It's called Future Pacing.

"Here's what happens when..."

You're allow readers to simulate in their mind's eye how reality unfolds once they make the decision you want them to.

Here's how I do that for The Best Way Newsletter.๐Ÿ‘‡
It's sinple, really.

FAQs!

All the questions and concerns would-be subscribers may have, I use to my advantage.

I turn them from objections into opportunities to Future Pace.๐Ÿ‘‡
Look at these:

- What happens when I join?
- When does the Newsletter send each month?
- When are the LIVE Q&A Sessions?
- Once I subscribe, will the price ever go up?
- Can I affiliate?

Each is in the present tense, yet I answer in the future tense.

Welcome to my Simulation๐Ÿ‘‡

Persuasion Lessons from History: Robert E. Lee Edition

If you want to win people over and influence them to do the right thing without burnt bridges or bloodshed, you NEED this thread.๐Ÿ‘‡

(Content Warning) Image
In 1856, Robert E. Lee was serving in the US military as a cavalry officer.

That December, he wrote a letter home to his wife Mary.๐Ÿ‘‡ Image
To this day, that letter is notorious for Lee's nonchalant embrace of racist opinions of American Black and African people, which many "educated" elites in the Southern and Northern states shared in those days.

I will not repeat them here. However...๐Ÿ‘‡

~ Why every writer MUST learn hypnosis ~

The thread:
"I want people to read what I wrote."

โŒFalse.

"I want people to read what I wrote. And believe me. Then act on it."

โœ…True.
Wouldn't it be nice if this happened every time?

You publish something.

A tweet. An article. A sales page.

And the exact people you want reading it . . . read it.

Then do as you tell them.

And feel happy about it.

Wouldn't it be nice.๐Ÿ‘‡

Manipulators tell you, "Your decisions define you for life, here's why yours were bad, and oh BTW redemption is impossible. So consume all my content."

It's an anti-Christian message yet pervasive in religious communities.

Listen for and disavow.
Step 1: Manipulators create a problem.

Step 2: It just so happens they have a monopoly on the solution for it.

The CCP is playing to win.
Did you know this?

The man behind Xi's moves wrote a book many years ago about America, and it's selling for as much as $2,500 because so many Chinese want to know what the hell is going on over here.
