COVID simply sealed our fates, as lenders have continuously done little, offered nothing but denials, and are NOT protected by current mortgage programs..had most of us known that the Cares Act would not allow us to move the missed payments to the back of our mortgage,
Veteran homeowners who were struggling pre covid to just keep their homes and not be added to the homeless population, are again exempt from mortgage help even in this new CA mortgage program! Homeowners who were struggling pre covid are now drowning in additional
behind payments thanks to the Cares Act which further caused additional hardships by not allowing our missed payments to be moved to the end of the mortgage. Which almost 100% guarantees that even more of
Americas heroes and their families are homeless. Without intervention and real help, states are directly contributing to the existing homeless crisis. No one who put their lives on the line for this country should have to
