Aleksandr Sokurov gave the world Russian Ark, a film of Russian history done in a single take 96-minutes long, and other powerful films.
In 2017, while working on @MrJones_Film with Agnieszka Holland, I had the honor of seeing her present Sokurov with a Lifetime Achievement award at the European Film Awards. His speech is worth listening to today:

This is one of those instances where you have to read the article and not just the Tweet and headline: a significant number of cases are being treated as an attack by a hostile adversary.
"The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine said in a report in 2020 that some of the observed brain injuries were consistent with the effects of directed microwave energy, which the report said Russia has long studied."
"In about two dozen cases, the agency cannot rule out foreign involvement, including many of the cases that originated at the U.S. Embassy in Havana beginning in 2016. Another group of cases is considered unresolved."

Reminder: Hitler and Stalin started World War II with their Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact in 1939, leading to their invasion of Poland and all the hell that followed. Putin recently outlawed this history/comparing Soviets to Nazis, and in Russia today Stalin is celebrated as a hero.
