so I was googling ‘offensive postage stamps’ for a bit and I made a horrifying discovery

I was thinking like the fun kind of offensive, say mailing your friend a letter with this on it

Instead I found that Poczta Polska issued a death camp postage stamp. *In 1946*. And it looked like this

this was apparently withdrawn after two months because of public outrage. and I want to know what Poczta Polska were doing for those two months. just sitting there like ‘this will blow over I bet’

it literally just says ‘Majdanek death camp baths and gas chambers’
