+ sponsored show b'cos he loved the a few EPS of script he read for SHL. He got the job bcos of his passion & the pink costume he designed for WKX. He also took three weeks to KNIT IT BY HANDS the front neck/bib/layers of ZZS's blue hobo gear. HGR provided a coherency & +

+ a united look to the drama. At no point did the costumes felt our of place for the setting and person. The costumes reflected a characters emotional state, and a reflection of plot points and movement. We are so lucky to have had HGR become obsessed with out little wuxia drama.

CNY Gala watch/bitch thread. Always interesting to see who makes an appearance during this. So far Liu Tao, Wulei, Zhou Rouyun, Liu Yu-Chun, one or all of the TF Boys, etc has made an appearance. Also, is it my imagination or are the men on stage wearing less makeup? +

... Why are there fake elephants on stage? And ppl dressed in ethnic minority outfits with ppl dressed as animals? What is happening? Why is this happening? WTF am I watching? Feels like this should be an actual stage show? I'm so confused. +

+ Second skit was also so boring. I really liked the all female dance performance. So cool. It is like an ink painting that has been brought to live. I love how they had the poem & painting on the background (from black to colour), and the music with it is really good too. +

I think I have talked about this before, but I love talking wuxia stuff. WKX uses his hands to fight, he likes to get personal when fighting. If he can grab people by the throat to kill someone he will. Having said that WKX is also + (1/6)

+ a highly skilled swordsman AND someone with excellent manipulation over his fan. Dude learned everything he could with one goal; kill someone as fast as possible. None of the artifice or predictable forms of the other sects' techniques. When he fight he kills. The only (2/6)

+ time his fighting could be considered beautiful & graceful is when he is flirt fighting with ZZS, or when he is proving that he is Zhen Ruyu's son, using his martial arts style, which is all graceful movements.

ZZS on the other hand is very properly trained. His forms (3/6)+
