Patrick Byrne buzzes like a fat fly around the events of January 6. Mr Pillow is media friendlier, Rudy more entertaining, but Byrne might be the most "colorful character" to make "the film" about. Gun lovin', fun lovin' Puttina Buttina will be played by?sltrib.com/news/politics/…
Fast forward a year later and Byrne is not so funny, Flynn not so patriotic and Jabba the Trump and his foreign backers are clearly still intent on destroying democracy. At what point do we dial 9/11 and report a crime? nytimes.com/2022/02/04/mag…
The America Project supports "freedom" and is spending money on divisive right wing election, medical and family hot buttons. Lot of weird shit to unpack here. americaproject.com/#current
There are ninjas, shofars, bibles, giant crosses, QAnon, conspiracy nuts, mercy and much more... all tossed into the Big Lie blender to create the MAGA Energy Drink of choice! thebulwark.com/the-twisted-tr…
“I’m a free agent, and I’m self-funded, and I’m funding this army of various odd people,” Byrne said in a Nov. 23 appearance on a podcast with a QAnon promoter who used the name InTheMatrixxx. “It’s really going to make a great movie someday.” Told ya. thedailybeast.com/ex-overstock-c…
Now Byrne did make a movie...but it's really an informercial with god awful color correction and men with questionable facial hair. In his movie Byrne gets to walk in slow motion and say stuff. Maybe he could hire Steve Bannon to direct the next one. imdb.com/video/vi285420… ImageImageImageImage
All this to say that if Congress wants to follow the bouncing sedition ball, these folks are making it painfully easy. Ads, speeches, social media, websites films, PowerPoints etc etc. While Congress is looking backwards we might want to look forward. politico.com/news/2022/01/2…
Something familiar in all this? 2012: "The Wall Street Conspiracy" chronicles the stories of a small group of activists who worked tirelessly to expose the corruption in our financial markets....some were entrepreneurs like Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne. Image
Yes Byrne is old news...he has been pitching Bitcoin, apocalypse and doom and now he gets to actually bring it about. What a great investment move. Short America... because you are destroying it. 2014: wired.com/2014/02/rise-f…
What do we see? Professional Fuckerists working diligently to dismantle structural systems and hoping to profit it by it: Mercenaries, bitcoin, monetized YouTube bullshit, charity grift, food buckets whatever. But it's not going to stop as long as sedition is profitable. #TrumpU Image
The lesson in this? The attempt to destroy the U.S.system not ideological. It is simply a cold hearted business opportunity masked as a crusade. Unless the fuckerists are stopped cold, America will become an autocratic oligarchy. Cue Shirtless Donald thecut.com/2018/07/maria-…

The Queen is giving Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III a run for his money. This Trumpster and Brexiteers seem very excited too.
Swaziland’s King Sobhuza II was crowned at age 1, had 70 wives, 210 children between 1920 and 1970. About 180 children survived infancy, and 97 sons and daughters were reported living as of 2000. At his death he had more than 1,000 grandchildren. theafricanhistory.com/1629
ER II did fine as far as monarchs go. The concept of supremacy by birth is archaic but still exists even in America. Roosevelt, Kennedy, Bush were families that ruled America. Donald is actually the only President that took a shot at ruling like royalty. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_s…

Is it strange to think that we live in the future? And we still don't have a reasonably priced jet car?
There were numerous flying car prototypes in the late 40s. And then they thought sitting on the freeways would be more fun.
Los Angeles had the first freeway to Pasadena and was home to the aviation industry. Still no cheap flying car.

A year ago I pointed out how many people from STRATCOM in Texas were connected to or involved in the Trump coup attempt. The info-ops outfit squirreled inside the Air Force that I got to know in Afghanistan. Oh look Mike Flynn!
Back in 2010. I was top of the fold as part of a ninja assassin story. I refused to work with Dewey and his clown show. They went on to cook POW Berghdal's goose with fake intel reports via Mike Flynn. Small world. nytimes.com/2010/03/15/wor…
I wrote about Bergdahl for Vice, then Michael Ames and Matt Farwell wrote a whole book on the debacle (in which I was described by JSOC as the best source of ground intel in Afghanistan (blush). Turns out Flynn had a reason to lie. #ReadTheBook washingtonpost.com/outlook/in-afg…

Donald blew through 8 Trillion we didn't have and I expect "I need a wheelbarrow of Biden dollars to buy a loaf of bread" stories from the right. The economy is about to hit a wall. So you could say Donald built a metaphorical economic wall and we are going to pay for it.
I could use "speed bump" or something less dramatic I guess. Much of the giddy spending was based on fear and then recovery. Pumping tax and future money in to get things going. Joe wanted 11 trillion, then 8, then 5 then 1.7 then ?.... theguardian.com/business/2022/…
The truth? In 2021 federal spending was equal to 30% of the total GDP, down from 44% in 2020. Yeah Trump pushed towards being a socialist nation. Faced with economic collapse, would Biden have done the same. Probably. datalab.usaspending.gov/americas-finan…
