St. Paul - Police have been on site in the Mt Airy n'hood since about 3:30 p.m. on what started as a text to 911 help call.
Police asked for a responder with a 40mm (less lethal).
Still ongoing.
Still ongoing. Bearcat has arrived. 17:15
We're told police presence has increased.
Apparently there's a translator involved. A mention of a protection order was made earlier.
Sounds like this incident cleared up around 7:30-7:45 p.m.

Child rapist Tyler Michael Ferguson.
Also just received the sweet plea deal on the Stella's arson case where he walked away with a stayed sentence and $1,000 restitution on $80,000 in damages.
In custody on damage to property case from March 2021.🙄
2/ The damage to property case related to his new arrest has been pending this entire time since before his conviction on raping a child and prior to being charged with Stella's arson.

Tonight's press conference by @MayorFrey and acting MPD Chief Amelia Huffman on the fatal OIS yesterday in #DTMpls.
2/ Our city "leaders" allow a city press conference to be overtaken by an activist agitator... The Always Available Nekima Levy Pounds Armstrong.
She was also apparently the first call the acting chief made after the shooting yesterday.
What, exactly, TF is going on???
3/ To be clear, we're not discounting Armstrong's right to ask questions about this incident. But to allow a historied agitator and extortionist to overtake a city press conference is simply unacceptable.

All of this... If you haven't asked your legislators to support this, please do. It sounds like @KRobbinsMN plans to introduce a bill to eliminate the excessive $8 fee for online downloads/viewing of court docs (this creates a barrier to us providing info to you!).
👇👇👇
If you missed our prior explainer on this proposed online fee issue, here's our prior thread (the $8 fee currently exists in statue and has applied to IN PERSON access and copies requiring staff assist. Now @MNCourts want to apply it to online access).
.
Not to mention, the $8 fee even for in-person access is excessive. There should be a reasonable fee that is relative to the actual cost of a paper copy.
