On the fourth day without power in Memphis I guess I am just wondering why national news like @nytimes cannot be bothered to cover this story at all. You certainly cared when it happened in Austin & as a result people sent help. MLGW has no estimate for getting the power back on
@nytimes People are huddled in their houses with their pets & it is 20 degrees overnight. Memphis is a city with a 30% poverty rate. People do not have the resources to endlessly fund alternate living arrangements. Is help coming? How can anyone help us if they don’t know what’s going on?
Since @GovBillLee is too busy to acknowledge the 100k+ residents of Memphis who are freezing in the dark, maybe @VP or @POTUS could send some help?? Do we have to do everything ourselves? Going into the 5th day without power here in Memphis @nytimes @NPR @CNN

You can help by asking @GovBillLee how he plans to help the people of Memphis. In the last 5 days, he has not even once acknowledged the widespread destruction from this storm. What is he waiting for??
