On the fourth day without power in Memphis I guess I am just wondering why national news like @nytimes cannot be bothered to cover this story at all. You certainly cared when it happened in Austin & as a result people sent help. MLGW has no estimate for getting the power back on @nytimes People are huddled in their houses with their pets & it is 20 degrees overnight. Memphis is a city with a 30% poverty rate. People do not have the resources to endlessly fund alternate living arrangements. Is help coming? How can anyone help us if they don’t know what’s going on?
