Streaming to NFTs is one of the newest (and potentially most powerful) applications enabled by Superfluid! ✨
Let us explain why... 🧵 (1/6)
With Superfluid, you can stream tokens over time to an NFT. If the NFT changes hands, the stream is automatically redirected to the new owner 🤝 (2/6)
In effect, this means you could charge rent (in a stream) for metaverse property. If that property is ever sold, the rent stream would automatically be redirected to the new owner 😎 (3/6)
But you can do so much more!
For example, if you own a digital billboard as an NFT, you can set up a streaming auction for the right to display adverts on it, and receive the proceeds from the highest streaming bidder in real-time 🤯 (4/6)
Using Superfluid to stream to NFTs is an underexplored but hugely exciting area for us!
We look forward to seeing all of the creative applications builders come up with as the landscape for NFTs continues to develop 💪 (5/6)

2/☀️ Our journey started in Summer 2019 when we realised smart contracts could be used differently. If Alice could *agree* to send Bob 10DAI/month, the whole economic relationship could be settled at once, with one single transaction. Money could stream with no gas.
3/🛠️ Thanks to a community of over 1000 builders, engineers and designers, we were able to bring to life a protocol that codifies these agreements on-chain, enabling capital to flow across the economy with no friction.
Superfluid is a smart contract framework on L1 Ethereum, enabling you to move assets on-chain following predefined rules called agreements
With a single on-chain tx, the money will flow from your balance to the receiver in real time! No other tx required
Feels like magic✨

We live in a digital economy dominated by online services yet we are still tied to recurring monthly transactions. Payments should be liquid, streaming as long as we use a service, until we cancel
Superfluid makes that possible, reducing gas costs and mental burden on users
