So today, I booked a Rapido Bike (@RapidoCares ) from Koramangala, Bangalore, and was waiting to get picked up. My ride came in no time and I was about to get on the bike when one Auto Driver (Who also is tied up with Rapido Auto Service) stopped my bike driver -

- asked him if he is working for Rapido Bike, told him to cancel the ride in front of me. The auto driver started raising his voice and gradually all his auto driver friends joined him. Some actually started recording him along with me (without my permission). -

- I was very angry and did not want to get into some feud because I am not a local and do not know their mother tongue. With my past experiences, I have learned that they discriminate against anyone who does not speak their language. -

The auto drivers kept asking him "Why are you kicking our stomach? You have other apps but why are you using Rapido?" They made him uninstall his Rapido Captain App. I was getting angrier and angrier and was hating the fact that I was not able to voice out so I left the place -

-since I was getting late as well. I was looking for more bikes. And to my surprise, there wasn't a single bike taxi in the Koramangala area (where these services are always available). I saw a Bangalore Police Car on my way standing with some policeman inside. I -

- asked them if Rapido Bike Taxis are banned and narrated the whole issue. Turns out they have no idea. So, @BlrCityPolice please check out Koramangala Area near Forum and Raheja arcade (Near Signal). Auto Drivers are getting mad and bullying the Bike Taxi Drivers. -

- It is not the bike captains' fault that Rapido has tie-ups with both Autos and Bikers or whatever case is going on in the court. The judgment is not even out yet. This kind of internal bullying is unacceptable and also against the rules. Auto drivers protesting is -

- different and bullying the bike drivers are different and I think @BlrCityPolice should take care of such bullies. How can one have the audacity to bully someone when the police are on duty right on the opposite road? -

- It is so evident that the issue is at some other end
but some other group is getting bullied here. They even took their bike key and all.... like why? -

- Is this because Rapido Bike taxis are the only real affordable transport option (Especially for students like me) unlike the Autos and Cabs tied up with Ola, Uber, Rapido Auto?
