Don't underestimate the importance of a routine in your daily life. Humans thrive on routine.
Even if you don't have a strict schedule you will feel better and be more efficient if you create structure in your life.

Need help developing structure? Keep reading 👇
1) Hydration

The first thing you do when you wake up is drink water. Ideally 1 liter of water upon waking up.

Most of you are chronically dehydrated. Start the day off right. Do it every day and you'll crave it in the morning.

1 liter before your morning coffee.
2) Exercise

Most people hate exercising. Don't torture yourself with something you hate first thing in the morning.

Walking in the morning sunlight while drinking your 1 liter water is a good way to get used to exercise.

20-30 minutes at a decent pace is a good start.
Can't even get motivated for that?

Use @ScottAdamsSays method. Just put on your exercise clothes. That's it. Odds are you will want to do something.

Or tell yourself it'll only be a 5 minute walk. Anyone can do 5 minutes.
3) Diet

If you are a breakfast eater, eat breakfast every day. Ideally high protein.

Pack a lunch or plan what you're having for lunch. Same for dinner.

The less guessing and last minute decisions the better. You'll make better food decisions.
4) Sleep

Go to bed at the same time every day +/- 1 hour.

Your body releases hormones around the same time every day. Fighting against this system is useless.

If you are a night person, don't fight it. Same for a morning person.
Wake up around the same time every day.

Do not sleep in on the weekend. This is hurting you in the long run. It distorts the natural pattern of sleep your body thrives on.

Sudden burst of energy in the morning? GOOD. That's cortisol telling you it's time to go.
5) Stress

Set a time EVERY DAY to systematically reduce stress.

Exercise
Meditation
Box Breathing
Reading a Book
Petting your Dog
Playing with your Kids

Do something to lower your stress every single day. Plan it.
You should be incorporating some aspect of all 5 listed above in your life.

Do it your own way. But do it every day. Make it non-negotiable. Create a system.

The Church of Randomized Controlled Trials must be killed. It has become a net negative.
1) We cannot test everything with an RCT

2) They are frequently wrong

3) They are expensive and take a long time

Waiting for one so you can make a decision delays the decision any paralyzes you. You must make decisions on best judgement and underlying truths.
Example:

It would be great to know whether or not Vit D helped people with covid. We can't expose people to covid knowingly.

Therefore, an RCT is impossible. Does this mean we can't verification whether or not Vit D helps?

No. We use other studies and clinical data.

Only a government school teacher thinks our government school education makes sense.
There's no evidence that 25 different children all learn best by sitting in a room learning the same material at the same speed.

In fact, there is plenty of evidence to the contrary.
And why does it take exactly 8 hours per day, 5 days per week to teach every child?

This one size fits all system is so stupid only a government school teacher could have contrived it.

The US government experimented on vulnerable citizens to develop truth serum for interrogating Soviet spies.

Prisoners, drug addicts, prostitutes, and mental patients were tested against their will.

This is the true story of MKUltra

🧵
Projects Bluebird and Artichoke began in 1951. The CIA set out to determine if they could control the human mind.

They used morphine addiction with forced withdrawal, hypnosis, and LSD.

The project failed in usual govt fashion:

More money and the birth of MKUltra
In 1953 MKUltra was born. The goal was to develop a truth drug for enhancing interrogation, and develop mind control techniques.

This was the height of The Cold War. This information was valuable.

Some speculated the Soviets had a serum of their own at the time (they didn't).

Myocarditis has a highly variable presentation. Both the severity and symptoms can be different from one person to the next.

This makes it difficult to detect.

Acute myocarditis has 3 general presentations:

1) Acute Coronary Syndrome

This looks like a heart attack..
