Another #SidNaaz Thread:

As promised, Naaz edition.

When I was younger, I would watch Disney movies all the time. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast. I would watch them, and rewatch them again and again. The princesses were always /1
so pretty, so kind and caring, and they were even able to talk to animals. They’d eventually fall in love and find a prince and live happily ever after. As I got older, I realised that there’s much more to life than Disney movies and these conventions only occur in films. /2
And so I grew out of my Disney movie obsession. It was too unrealistic for me to be into anymore, not to mention how uncool it was seen as by the time you reach a certain age. Fate seemed to have other plans though, because I witnessed a love story just as magical, /3
, just as fairytale-esque some years later. I discovered a Prince and I discovered his Princess: Shehnaaz Kaur Gill. From the first time I saw this girl on my screen, clad in a white Punjabi suit, babbling away cutely, making everyone laugh in such a short amount of time, /4
I was floored. I knew this girl was going to do something amazing, and she did. I forgot such people existed. Whether it be Geet from Jab We Met or Aisha from Ek Villain, my most favourite Bollywood movies of all time, I thought, just like the Disney princesses, such people /5
only exist in fictional stories. Such purity, genuine love for life and bubbliness is rare to see in real life where everyone is so worn out and done with life. Yet, Shehnaaz singlehandedly wiped that misconception of mine out. She was like a ray of sunshine in my life, /6
still is. Suddenly, I felt like the little girl in awe of the Disney princesses on her screen again. This girl was kind, she was pure hearted, she was there for people when they were alone, she was so forgiving, so welcoming and she could even talk to crows! All that went /7
through my head was, “Is she even real?”. Despite her nature being taken advantage of by contestants in the house, she never changed. She was kind and her kindness was used by others some times, but she fought for herself and stood up for herself when needed. /8
She has a heart of gold. She’s the funniest person ever. She’s drop dead gorgeous. And just when I thought she couldn’t get any better, I had the pleasure of witnessing her fall in love. And God, did she fall. She fell deep, hard and fast. She completely immersed herself/9
in her love for him. Just like the lyrics of the song she performed on, she drowned in love. It was so beautiful to witness. They didn’t even realise the intensity of their love themselves and I think it surprised them when they felt it during their emotional outbursts /10
in front of each other. My English teacher once told me, “Love is vulnerability.” And Shehnaaz and Sidharth? They lived by that. Shehnaaz bared her soul in front of him, she told him so much about herself, trusting him with that knowledge, knowing he’d protect it and keep it /11
safe. She had the courage to take the leap of faith blindly and offer herself to Sidharth, not knowing what the outcome would be. And Allah ke karam se she received total acceptance, protection and unlimited love in return for it. All she asked was for his love, time, /12
affection and attention. There was no materialistic desire. Just the desire for togetherness with him who had always heard her with no judgement, who guided her and who kept her heart safe. Sidharth never let her down. I don’t think it was something she had experienced before./13
So much of her childhood was spent craving warmth, praise and affection. She didn’t know what that all until much later in her life, when she was older. Despite that, she loved Sidharth so much, and I sometimes felt like that was even more than she did her own self. /14
Whether it was standing up for him on every WKV in front of SK, defending him in front of housemates even when they would turn against her for it, or submerging herself in the water during Bhula Dunga, for him. Because even if she didn’t always do what he told, “tere liye me /15
Kuch b karungi”. And she proved it. Even today, she went back to that house where they had begun, she went in front of the man who had mentored them, she performed on behalf of him and heard people’s negative thoughts about it, just for him. She subjected herself to /16
reliving their memories, even though it’s not easy to deal with now, just because she wants to continue to honour him and include him in her life. Kyunke wo chahiti he ke “Unki performance b me doon” . She threw herself in between every fight, becoming a human barrier in /17
between him and the vultures that surrounded them, shielding him from them. It was her way of protecting him, just like he protected her. She trusted him, she knew he would never hurt her, despite the housemates trying to present him as violent and aggressive. /18
She knew he only reacted to their provocation when they crossed the line, and she always tried to soothe him. Gentle kisses on the chest, holding him close, rubbing his back, running her hands through his hair. These were all gentle actions she did to comfort him. She always /19
cheered him up. She spread happiness everywhere she went. Like a butterfly, fluttering around and bringing beauty and joy with her. She made him laugh, she pampered him whenever he requested her to, her affectionate “Bebu, Kullu, Golu, Baby, Sidharthhhh”, looking after him /20
like he was her own family when he was sick and they had only known each other for two months, lending him her own shawl and blanket when he was sick. Her countless efforts to manao him because she couldn’t live without him and she didn’t want them both to be naraz. She /21
valued and cared for her relationship with him more than any others did with each other in that house. Usska Sidharth ko apna family maanjaana and showing it through everything she did, be it cuddling him close at night, massaging his feet, giving him champis, reaching for his /22
- hand when cutting her birthday cake, going to feed him first. His place in her life is cemented. He will always be important to her. She made it obvious through her words and actions and still does today. Her confessions of “I love you” disregarding the world’s opinions /23
and bravely offering her heart to him. She was always sure of him. SidNaaz made her so happy because she was glad people could see their love for each other. She was so excited when she saw people cheer for them, because that meant their reality reached them. And she proved /24
- loyalty through and through, from the start to the end of Bigg Boss and from MSK til now. There is still only one person she speaks so highly of and that is still Sidharth Shukla. She chooses to carry him forward with her, their family, his spiritual beliefs, his private /25
nature. When I leave this world one day, I would feel so happy if my life and my interests could become a solace for my loved ones, and if it would inspire them to heal during their time without me. It’s very rare that you find such people today. And I think she’s even /26
better than the Disney princesses because of that. Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, you introduced me to the kindest, strongest and bravest princess, and you will always be my favourite. You and Sidharth showed me a love I dreamed of in my childhood. You give me hope, you still do today. /27
Wo yaheen hai, hamesha. Aap ke sath, hum sab ke sath. Happy ending zaroor hogi, Kabhi na Kabhi, kyunke life is a circle, you see? SidNaaz aaj b sath he, aur khush hai, hamesha ki tarha. We can see a little bit of him in you every time. Thank you for holding our fandoms /28
together and being our strength in this time. You and Sidharth are our world and you will remain so always. We love you both, til infinity and beyond. From your chappals, to your kauwwa and chidiya kahaani to Kuch Kuch Hota hai and hone de, we remember every little thing /29
related to you guys. My kids and grandkids will be hearing of this! Agar Shona Shona ki har Ek line yaad na Ho unhe to mera naam Miraal nahi. We will always be with you, humare pure souled babies 🤍

Forever grateful to you two.

He never willingly would have gone. He never would put his mother through that, never. He always wanted her to be healthy, happy, proud and strong. In front of her, he was just a small bacha. They never deserved this. Meri Ek tayi ammi hein, unke bete ki death Ho gayi thi -
- when he was 30 years old, in a foreign country and his friends brought his body home. Wo aaj tak intezaar Karti hein apne bete ka. Abhi tak accept ni kiya, apne aap ko ye dilaasa deti hein ke wo abhi b pardes hein, bas aa jayen ge Kuch waqt me. Unko ye cheez boht dukh deti he-
-, unki sehat boht kharab rehti he lekin wo wait karti hein. Wo nahi maanti ke wo nahi hein. Maa ka dil he na? Ese kese maan jaye. Wo unke laadle the, ghar me sab se chote bhai. Maa ka pyaar Kabhi khatam nahi Hota. Itne dard se kisi ke liye -

I promised myself not to be negative but I’ve been breaking a lot of promises to myself recently. He was, is the centre of her world. Her eyes in the pictures we saw today - I just feel like a huge change has occurred in her. And it’s heartbreaking. She’s strong for Di’s and -
- Shehnaaz and her family, but unke dil ka haal kon jaane? Sidharth itna pampered bacha he ke wo usska kaam hamesha karti thi, even when he grew up. Uss ki shararat, uss ki baatein, uss ki awaaz me “Maa” sunna, uss ke liye sab Kuch karna. Wo sab unke Dimag me 24/7 chalta hoga.
Aaj lakhon log unko Maa bula rahe he aur haan hum dil se b bula rahen he; lekin jis Ek insaan se wo ye sunna chahti hein, uss insaan ki awaaz ke liye unhe itna Tadap na par raha Ho ga. We know what Sidharth is like. He and his sisters probably plan the best day for her on her -

Wonder Woman #RitaMaa: a thread.

Maa. Mumma. Ammi. Amma. Mom. Mum. Mummy. Mama. This one word has so many alterations in all different languages but in every child’s life, the value of their mother is beyond understanding. And then there is our beloved Rita Aunty, who so many of ImageImageImageImage
us fondly refer to as Rita Maa. This woman is an Iron Lady. She is made of a special kind of mitti. She faces the hardest problems in life with her head held high, with dignity, elegance, courage and so so much strength. All 3 of her children are such eloquent, matured, dignified
and intelligent people. She raised them so so well and that’s how we see she’s done her job right. She is a wonderful mother; we know because Sidharth always voices his appreciation for her. Fearlessly voicing your incredible opinions, crafting well spoken arguments, standing up

A #SidNaaz Thread:

Before watching BB13 I used to think that people should confess their love if it’s what they feel. Agar pyaar karte Ho kisi se, to bolne me kya harj he? I love you bol ke b dikha na chahiye na? But when I watched BB13, my thinking completely changed. /1
Sidharth was the one who changed this. We didn’t see/weren’t shown bold confessions, massive proposals or cliche speeches from Sidharth. But you know what? I’m glad we didn’t. What we saw was a lot deeper and beautiful than all that. We saw his love in his actions. /2
We saw it in his holding her hand, his forehead kisses, his tight squeezes, in him being unable to sleep peacefully without her, pampering her, massaging her feet, complimenting her to make her feel special like every girl wishes to be, being able to stand everything; - /3

Just a few minutes ago, the world was overwhelmed with joy and now tremendous grief. Heartbroken. I’m so sorry, Rayan. May Allah grant you the highest rank in Jannat ul Firdaus and grant your parents sabr. Ameen.

Subha se Rita Aunty ke baare me soch ri hu. Ek maa ke liye apne bachon ko apni life me jaate dekhna, that’s unimaginable. They go through so much to keep their child alive for 9 months, then raise them to mature and eventually be capable of living without their parents. It’s -
- never supposed to be the child going so soon for a mother. A mother’s worst nightmare is losing her child. Sidharth is her entire world. They’d never been away from each other for longer than 4.5 months in BiggBoss and now it’s been 5. At least then she could see him, hear -
- him, and know how he was doing. I haven’t watched Sidharth’s family round since he went. I can’t. I can’t think of Rita Aunty’s pain, neither do I have a remedy for it. This will be her first birthday without her son. Her son who people idolise as a role model son. Her son -
