Imagine Donald Trump pardoning the people that bludgeoned the police, the men that had an armory of weapons in Arlington, the men and women that sought to kill his own Vice President.
It's important to note that leaders of the Oathkeepers and other extremists were deeply angry that Trump failed to pardon everyone involved in January 6. I think these statements gave to be read as directed at them- mending the relationship.
