We see many chad NFT guys making life changing money. From #AzukiZen to #BAYC and @AdamBombSquad, there are stories of peeps flipping 5 ETH into 100 ETH or more over the past few weeks. Thats a pretty decent profit. Where does this money flow to?

Personally think that some of the profits from NFT season will flow into gaming NFTs. Feels like a natural thing to do since NFT guys are alrdy used to buying nfts. Some NFTs like capsule house/treeverse have roadmaps to eventually launch games too.

Within DeFi, this may be an unpopular view, but i will share my thoughts anyway. DeFi has had a good run over the past 6 months. We had crv/cvx wars, ohm/fork parabola, basically all of defi 2.0 rallied hard. It seems many got tired of it. The $cvx wars narrative has slowed.

Whether defi investors have become too rich, bored or tired of the existing narratives, everyone is searching for the next $spell or defi 3.0 protocol. While i believe $cvx narrative comes back, I think the attention goes somewhere else first.

People who know me would know i was extremely bullish $cvx eco, basically the whole defi 2.0 wave and have benefited from the ride. But after speaking to some friends in this space, consensus seem to be, money flows somewhere else.

GameFi is a good midpoint of NFT x DeFi. Both group of investors can understand it somewhat well. Seems like the next best place to go, while defi devs continue to build out the next innovative products.

The play to earn(p2e) transition to play and earn(p&e) is a welcomed change. If you’ve read all the articles that @0xRyze and other game economists talk about. This is where gamefi is fortunately moving towards.

There are so many games out there, and its so difficult to pick the right game and rotate out unless you’re going to play for the long term. If you don’t have time to review all the docs, a good way to play the gamefi szn could be Guilds. Wrote this in my q1 22 outlook.

Guilds like $ygg $mc $gf $avg work like an index fund for gamefi. Since they participate in most of the solid games, an investment in a guild is like buying the SPY etf. Where you get to “hold” the best companies. The bad companies are reviewed and replaced frequently.

Holding the $gf token staked has many benefits. You get value accrual for various things including a launch pad. Imagine getting new tokens airdropped to $sGF token holders? What if you get a token like $ptp and it goes 100x. Will you fade it?

Guildfi also has a solid treasury position, where they can deploy to purchase good quality digital/gaming assets. Higher the treasury, the better innit. If you can’t trade, cant invest, cant pick coins, just invest in a guild.

I have accumulated some $cra and $tus. Thinking that $tus will be an interesting play as new game modes are released. More players/guilds will come in to purchase crabs, the currency needed is $tus. Not sure if land will require $tus but I would guess it will be needed.

As $tus is down approx 30% from ATH, its a good chance to DCA into a position. And when it goes back up, perhaps swap into $cra.

$dcau is a really early play on Avax eco, low cap with fdv 16m or so. Its the dragon coin everyone is talking about and its deflationary. H/t my @_dcdao fam for sharing this coin. I love this coin at 3 digits. Will love it more at 4 digits.

While nothing is guaranteed. I personally believe GameFi season might be just around the corner. This season might see many 10-50x, who knows, just look at what $axs did in 2021 🤯
