Haberman *just* wrote an article abt how Trump taking 15 boxes of docs from WH was honest mistake due to “hasty exit” in Jan 2017, but she knew he was flushing docs down toilet?
why wasn’t flushing docs down toilet included in NYT article????

also, @deanbaquet’s shop is a mess
this is why NYT fired its public editor, so reporters wouldn’t have to answer questions like this
btw, Trump’s going to love cover pic for Haberman book

instead of old, bloated orange-hair Trump, it’s young Trump w/ cocky look on his face

textbook example of how Trump absolutely plays DC

complying w/ archives rules has historically been a “gentlemen’s agreement.” so Trump simply shreds the protocol and pays absolutely no price

wash, rinse, repeat
in the past, shredding DC protocols meant getting hammered in the press

Trump shred so often press got bored, stopped holding him accountable
when Clinton’s left WH and took some items w/ them NEW YORK TIMES LOST ITS MIND FOR FIVE WEEKS
