Last week House clerks enrolled the wrong version of Postal Service Reform Bill
They immediately corrected it
Schumer filed cloture on the incorrect version
Seems now Fla Sen Rick Scott plans to object to a unanimous consent to replace this with the correct version

So it looks like Postal Service Reform won't pass til at least March now
From Schumer's office:
"As it has been reported, the House of Representatives made a minor clerical error when it sent the bipartisan Postal Service Reform bill to the Senate.

"House Republicans worked with House Democrats to pass a technical correction by Unanimous Consent on Friday. Now, Senator Rick Scott is threatening to block the same fix by Unanimous Consent on Monday in the Senate.

Growing chatter that -at McConnell's behest- a bipart gp of Senators will propose Electoral Count Act (ECA) reform
Giving Manchin cover
& avoiding filibuster reform & passage of actual voting rights
ECA is *very* narrow
It won't fix what GOP are doing in states
Not good

ECA is a relatively arcane 19th Century law that governs how Electoral College votes are tabulated & certified
-which is what Trump tried to get Pence to corrupt on 1/6
Has *nothing* to do with state level issues at the core of voter suppression & a lot more that vrl covers

Manchin said yesterday he is only in favor of making minor filibuster change
And he wants 2/3 (GOP) agreement to make the change
He's obfuscating again
This ECA thing is McConnell throwing Manchin a bone
And it's very, VERY dangerous
