The CDC has reversed itself and now recommends early treatment for Covid. The DHS memo of Feb. 7th seems to suggest those who argued for the value of early treatment before CDC’s acknowledgment—though factually correct—have spread “malinformation”, a kind of terrorism.

Some will quibble about the specifics. CDC is, of course setting the stage for highly profitable new drugs, not repurposed out-of-patent ones. But the same new DHS/terrorism standard presumably applies to cloth masks, natural immunity, myocarditis and outdoor transmission as well
According to DHS, if you embarrass the CDC by discussing what it’s blind to (deadly errors in CDC guidance, for example) you’re a terrorist because you’re seeding distrust of government. The more embarrassing the official mistakes, the greater the danger of bringing them to light
This tweet threat is based in fact and should naturally, if you’re American, make you distrust your government. Is it therefore malinformation-terrorism? If my thread is somehow in error, does it become misinformation-terrorism?
