There are eight siddhis mentioned in our ancient scriptures also known as Ashta Siddhi. The Scriptures also include the abilities gained by the seeker after the attainment of the Ashta Siddhis. Image
The seeker needs to be very disciplined and learn to control the mind as it is not so easy to attain these siddhis. After attaining siddhis, the seeker rises above worldly attachment. Longing for desires of the materialistic world ends.
It is said in the scriptures that Mata Sita blessed Hanuman ji that he can grant anyone with Ashta siddhis and nine Nidhis. The lines from Hanuman Chalisa that describes the above are as follows:

🌺'अष्ट सिद्धि नव निधि के दाता, असवर दीन जानकी माता।'🌺

🌺What is the importance of saying desire in the ears of Nandi and why it is done?🌺

Nandi is the chief devotee of Bhagwan Shiv. Nandi, who must be enshrined in the form of a bull, in front of Mahadev in any Shiva temple. Shiva rides Nandi and Nandi is very dear to him.
Bhagwan Shiv mostly lives in penance, so with closed eyes he looks after the entire world. Whereas Nandi is a symbol of consciousness, which expresses the latent things with open eyes and open ears.
According to the Puranas, there should not be any disturbance in the penance of Mahadev; hence Nandi is stationed outside his tapasthala in Chaitanya state. Whatever devotees bring their problems to Mahadev, Nandi stops them there.

🌺The Ramayana has a philosophical, spiritual significance and a deep truth in it.🌺

The words ‘rays’ and ‘radiance’ come from the Sanskrit root word ‘ra’. ‘Ra’ means light, ‘Ma’ means within me, in my heart. So, Rama means the light within me.
That which is radiant in every particle of the being is Rama.
Rama was born to Dasharath and Kousalya. Dasharath means ‘Ten Chariots’. The ten chariots symbolize the five sense organs and five organs of action. Kousalya means ‘skill’.
The skillful rider of the ten chariots can give birth to Ram. When the ten are used skillfully, radiance is born within.
Rama was born in Ayodhya. Ayodhya means ‘a place where no war can happen’. When there is no conflict in our mind, then the radiance can dawn.
