It is possible for a germ to harm us directly or indirectly. While I am not in the know of any sane research that fulfils KOCH's postulates (direct harm), it is known that bacteria can indirectly harm (excreta, breakdown products).
Animal experiments are most cruel and the very process of experiment leads to an ailment and not any pathogen. In one study, rodents were anaesthetised and "innoculated" with fluid injected into lungs. Is that the way you catch a respiratory infection? Think about it!
Science and philosophy are not two divorced subjects. Look at forests. Are the big cats out to eliminate the herbivores? In the Millions of years of existence on the planet did they manage to eliminate herbivores? Don't we feel the microcosm and macrocosm are related?
Why live in perpetual fear of complete decimation or elimination by germs?
Why don't we instead have good scientific practice? Why doesn't GoI spend a few lakhs rupees extra to conduct thorough control experiments rather than rush like mad to spend thousands of crores on jabs?
Why don't scientists conduct animal or human experiments in the natural way? If I can sit in a room alongwith a friend with running nose and catch it, why anaesthetise small rodents and inject muck into their lungs? Is there any comparison?
Why "inoculate" animals by injections into their ears, head, lungs etc? Can't you just make them sit or roam around normally in a room with a dozen running noses (humans) for example and see if the animal too catches it?
If the above experiment is horribly difficult to conduct and control, how and why on Earth are we so scared of sitting in the same room as a running nose, fearing infection and mortality when you can never reproduce it?? Is this not irrational fear?
If your lab is not a scaled down version of reality, but rather a completely distorted and vicious version of reality, then its results are invalid and inapplicable to real world and real problems.
Germ Theory is actually a respectable name for an irrational fear that some tiny microscopic germs conspired to, and are capable of eliminating the pinnacle of evolution on Earth, that is us humans.
And we conduct above described irrational and inhuman animal experiments to realise our fear, not dig into truth of disease.
Remember what the Lord said in Gita: there is no penance greater than search for truth.
Are we not aware that it is a labour of love that brings life to the planet? How can the most vicious and unimaginable crimes against fellows beings of the planet bring about health and happiness to us?
No, we don't need to begin from scratch, we already have AYUSH.
#AYUSH is the best recourse for health and wellness. We don't need to indulge in evil behaviours like extreme violence towards animals or humans, market greed and avarice etc., in order to discover cures and bring about wellness and health.
As on date, we have subjugated #AYUSH to this evil superstition and mandating them also to indulge in this same madness. #AYUSH needs freedom from this manic behaviour. Let #AYUSH be like it always was, let them evolve on their own thought process.
Nanyah pantha vidyateyanaya
I do not see any other way!!
Let there be peace.
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti!!

Children vaccination, a lay man's guide to Risk Benefit Analysis:
1. Risk to children of the age 0-19 can be understood in terms of Infection Fatality Rate (IFR). This is estimated at 0.0027%. That is, 1 in 37,037 infected children runs the risk of mortality.
Now, if we look at actual mortality in children, that is reported far lower. UK reported 2 child deaths in 1 Million cases. So, we can say risk to children is practically zero by taking IFR accuracy up to 2 decimals.
2. Now, if we go for a vaccine, we expect a benefit. But IFR cannot be a negative number, so Benefit of vaccine is ZERO to children.
3. Every vaccine has Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR). Whenever someone suffers an unexpected health outcome at any time after vaccination ...
