Update on the $SOLID launch, $OXD & #solidly (@solidlyexchange $SEX) partnerships, and the game plans of all 25 protocols that have received the initial allocation
๐งต...
0xDAO Party
- 7.4mn $SOLID staked or 37% of all allocation
- Members include: $OXD, $BOO, $TOMB, $SCREAM, Reaper Farm, $BEETS, $LQDR, $TAROT
- Currently, 6 of the 8 members have voted for own pools
2/ Solidly Party:
- 6.7mn $SOLID staked or 33.7% of all allocation
- Members include: $YFI, $WEVE, $CRV, $GEIST, $MULTI, $REN, $SPELL, and Saddle Finance
- Currently, no members have voted but the likely pools to be voted are:
- $WEVE - $USDC
- $GEIST - $FTM
- $MIM - $USDC
3/ Other protocols not in these two parties include: $SYN, $RDL, $IB, $SPIRIT, $SUSHI, $FXS, $HND, $PILLS
- Currently, 5 of the 8 protocols have voted for their own pools, with $PILLS likely to be voted on $MIM - $USDC due to their partnership with $SPELL
4/ How to play this $SOLID launch? 1) Provide liquidity on $SOLID and then stake LP token on $OXD or @solidlyexchange for boosted rewards 2) Buy & stake ecosystem tokens in the hope protocols pass through $SOLID rewards
For 2), please see notes below...
5/ As shown in the tables above, details post-emission launch is not yet announced by many. However, $IB or IronBank has said they will pass through $SOLID emissions directly to $IB stakers
It is also worth noting, if you plan to do this strategy, to diversify your bets and...
6/ ... buy native tokens to several protocols. One way to filter the best buys is to look at the "Mcap/# of SOLID" ratio, which is an indicator of how expensive the token is relative to the $SOLID allocation
Please note, lots of details are still unannounced...
7/ ... and hence, this strategy maybe a bit riskier than simply providing liquidity on $SOLID and staking the LP on $OXD or @solidlyexchange
If you have information on this $SOLID accumulation race, please feel free to comment so others can see!
[UPDATE] I just realized a mistake in the thread. To clarify:
The new AMM is Solidly $SOLID and the accumulating party is Solidex @SolidexFantom
Apologies for the confusion!

[WEEK 2] With round 2 of $SOLID emissions starting in 5 hours, let's take a look at the top 20 pools by votes and measure them by capital efficiency ($ in TVL per 1 vote for $SOLID emissions):
#1: $OATH- $FTM
#2: $FTM- $YFI
#3: $YFI- $WOOFY
#4: $USDC- $WEVE
#5: $CRV- $FTM
๐งตโฆ
1/ Although $OATH- $FTM has the highest efficiency, the underlying protocol is no where near as established as $YFI. Hence, it could be argued that #2 & #3 would be a better play as $YFI (as a protocol) is more developed than $OATH (as a protocol)
2/ This makes #2 & #3 an attractive play as $YFI may hold its value better than $OATH in a down market.
#4 $USDC- $WEVE is also an interesting play as $WEVE recently announced its partnership with $OXD team (controlling >40% of the initial allocation)...
With the TVL reaching $2 billion on $SOLID, I figured an update is due - $SOLID TVL exploded quicker than I had expected! Let's take a look at the votes for next week and discuss ways to figure out next week's play.
1/ As the TVL grows, more eyes are now watching $SOLID and the $SOLID token & price are increasingly more important.
Let's assume all underlying tokens in pools have the same values & narratives. Therefore, the best way to ape would be pools with the highest capital efficiency.
2/ By comparing the pool size relative to its votes (TVL / # of Votes, see last column in the above chart), we are able to determine the $$$ in pool size per 1 vote in $SOLID emission...
