1/ .icp is not a top-level domain, so you cannot really use https://dfinity.icp to access dfinity.org
2/ now with .host feature of ICNS, if you set the Host record of dfinity.icp to dfinity.org, you can use dfinity.icp.host to access dfinity.org, .host feature helps bridge the traditional Web2 DNS system with Web3 ICNS system
3/ If the internet computer is the AWS of Web3, then ICNS will be the native name service of Web3! #Dfinity#ICNS
IC is fullstack, you can deploy frontend to canister, but it comes with a long and unfriendly URL like https://x...x.ic0.app, now all you need is an ICNS name to solve this, just set your host record to your FE canister ID and everyone can access your product with your ICNS name!

1/ ICNS stands for Internet Computer Name Service, it essentially maps human-readable names to your crypto addresses and other custom user metadata. We believe a good name service is the fundamental component of the Web3 ecosystem
2/ it is built on the IC, the one and only truly web3 native platform, integrated with @plug_wallet, @dank_ois & @sonic_ooo's WICP for payment, @cap_ois for history tx storage, it is a demonstration of the capability of IC and the interoperability of open internet services
