As ominous footage of Russian tanks entering Ukraine emerged, one man, Philip Crowther is on the scene bringing us the intel in not one, not two, but six languages.

And, he doesn’t 👏🏽miss👏🏽 a beat👏🏽 in any👏🏽 of them👏🏽
Reporting on the developing conflict between Russia and Ukraine from Kyiv last night, @PhilipinDC shared a clip of himself bringing the news live on camera in English, Luxembourgish, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German, and tickle us impressed.
The clip Crowther posted has well and truly gone viral, with more than 3.8million views at time of reporting, more than 43,000 likes, 7,000 retweets and 3,700 quote tweets all echoing the same sentiment of ‘WTF’.
Addressing the fact Crowther had shared the clip himself in a spot of self-promotion, another wrote: ‘Gotta respect this man tweeting about it himself. We stan a proud #multilingualking’ 👑
How many languages do you speak? 🤓🌎
Sharing his background on his website, Crowther was born in Luxembourg to a British father and German mother, and he studied at higher education in London.
After university he was a reporter and news anchor at France 24 in Paris, covering events in Ghana, Angola, South Africa, Germany, the United Kingdom, as well as the revolution in Libya, before moving to Washington in 2011🌎
It comes as President Putin recognised two breakaway regions of eastern Ukraine as independent states in a major escalation of tensions, with Boris Johnson expected to give a statement to parliament on the UK’s next steps later today.
Mr Johnson also outlined his ‘grave concern’ at recent developments in a phone call with the Ukrainian president on Monday night, and said he would consider further ‘defensive support’.

What happens when we die? 🤔

Scientists may finally be in a position to answer that question.

The first ever recording of a dying person’s brain activity show the brain going into a dreamlike state🧠

🧵👇🏾

Researchers in the United States captured the brain waves of a patient as her life ended.

Crucially, they didn’t set out to capture this data – instead it ocurred by happenstance.
Researchers in the United States were running an electroencephalogram (EEG) on an 87-year-old woman who suffered from epilepsy.

An EEG measures the electrical activity of your brain and, in this case, was being used to detect the onset of seizures.

Just two days before the Prince of Wales tested positive for Covid-19, he hosted an investiture at the Queen's Windsor Castle home.

So, there's definitely a chance he could have passed the virus to Her Majesty...

The likelihood of this happening would depend on when Charles first caught the virus and the window in which he was infectious.

Government guidance says people who have Covid-19 can infect others from around two days before symptoms start and for up to 10 days after. Image
Charles met the Queen on Tuesday, February 8, and tested positive on the morning of Thursday, February 10.

He had attended a reception for the British Asian Trust in central London the night before & shook hands with a number of people, including Priti Patel and Rishi Sunak. Image
