A brief civics lesson (esp for @KenPaxtonTX): State AG's don't DECLARE laws. They UPHOLD them. The #txlege tried making "care for a trans child = child abuse" a law, but failed. Therefore, caring for trans kids is NOT illegal, and Ken Paxton can fuck off.

Also, and this is important: I KNOW HE KNOWS THIS. I *literally* asked him when he was a dinner guest in my home if he could stop anti-trans bills. His answer = "I don't make the laws."

Providing care to trans children is NOT illegal, no matter what one old dinosaur of a politician says, kids. @KenPaxtonTX can't just make up a law because he doesn't like what the current law is. You'd think a state attorney general would know this.🤷♀️
Lastly, how fucking DARE @KenPaxtonTX come to my home to break bread with my family at our dinner table, and then say that families like mine should not exist. He's met my son and knows that my husband and I are NOT the definition of child abusers. Shame on him.
