NYSE wants to be marketplace for NFTs just like with stocks

The New York Stock Exchange is stepping into the nonfungible tokens market with plans to do for digital assets what it does for stocks.
The NYSE said in a regulatory filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that it wants to be a financial exchange for cryptocurrencies and NFTs that would compete with the likes of OpenSea and Rarible Inc.
The filing, dated Feb. 10, indicated plans for a NYSE-branded cryptocurrency and a marketplace to buy, sell and trade NFTs.
In a statement, the NYSE said it has no immediate plans to launch cryptocurrency or NFT trading but “regularly considers new products and their impact...
on our trademarks and protects our intellectual property rights accordingly.”
The exchange last year minted its first NFTs, memorializing noteworthy IPOs including that of Spotify Technology SA, Snowflake Inc., Unity Software Inc. and Roblox Corp.

The West must understand that, to Russia, Ukraine can never be just a foreign country. Russian history began in what was called Kievan-Rus. The Russian religion spread from there. Ukraine has been part of Russia for centuries, and their histories were intertwined before then.

There was a man in London 300 yrs ago called Jonathan Wild. He lived at a time robbery and violent crimes were rampant in the city - day/night. The people were helpless and the police were largely absent. And because nature abhors a vacuum, this man, a civilian, filled that void.
He started hiring himself to government to capture thieves and get them hanged. He was very effective in catching thieves and in retrieving stolen goods back to their owners. He set up what he called 'Lost Property Office' which became a house of relief for traumatized victims...

I recall that when we returned to Awka after this sordid war, the entire town was looted and burned to the ground; I mean completely burnt out.
Over 10,000 homes.
I was wondering why the Nigerian troops had to destroy the town. Were they fighting with the houses?
My grandmother who refused to flee with us had a bullet put through her skull, after which this very old harmless woman was burned with her house.
And today they still hate us. Some say because we are enterprising.
