Did you know about a mystery pillar in the ancient Somnath Temple of Gujarat?

It is called “Baan Stambh”, located on the south side of the temple, overlooking the sea. An arrow is built on the top of the pillar which points towards the sea. Image
The existence of this pillar is mentioned in some ancient books from the 6th century.

There is an inscription carved on the pillar in Sanskrit -
“आसमुद्रांत दक्षिण ध्रुव,पर्यंत अबाधित ज्योर्तिमार्ग'”.
(there is no earth terrain from this point of the sea to the South Pole).
Now the anazing fact is that, if you start travelling from Somnath Mandir towards the South, you will indeed not find any mountain or piece of land until you reach the South Pole (Antarctica), 10,000 kms away.
The fascination about this is that; how did our ancestors knew this fact in the 6th century or thousands of years before that.
And then they say that the knowledge of Astronomy, Geography, Mathematics and Maritime Sciences was a gift to the World from the West.
What they don't know is, that the so called gift was stolen by the west from us.

Our ancient Indian heritage is indeed an incredible and unmatchable gift to humanity and the world.

You may find it surprising that much of Christianity originated/plagiarized from India.

Over the centuries, numerous historians and sages have pointed out that not only has Hinduism had a predominant influence on Christianity,... Image
...but that many of the Christian rites could be directly borrowed from Hindu (Vedic) Rituals of India.

French historian Alain Danielou had noticed as early as 1950 that "a great number of events which surround the birth of Christ - as it is related in the Gospels - strangely.. Image
..reminded us of Buddha's and Krishna's legends."

Danielou quotes as examples the structure of the Christian Church, which resembles that of the Buddhist Chaitya; the rigorous asceticism of certain early Christian sects, which reminds one of the asceticism...

🌺A Tale from the Puranas🌺

Banasura, a mighty asura, once ruled over a large Kingdom, Sonitpur. His influence was so strong and fierce that all the kings – and even some of the devas – shuddered in front of him.
Bana is described as an ancient king of Sonitpur in several Hindu Puranic scriptures. Bana was a thousand-armed Asura king, and the son of Mahabali.
Banasura used to worship a Rasalingam given to him by Vishvakarma, on instruction from Vishnu.
As an ardent devotee of Shiva, he used his thousand arms to play the Mridanga when Shiva was performing the tandava dance. Shiva gave Banasura a boon and the latter requested Shiva to be his protector: therefore, Banasura became invincible.
