Annie Howell's lawyer, Heather Shaner, is asking for probation.

Howell, her lawyer writes, began "her journey to awareness shortly after the insurrection on January 6th," and met with the @January6thCmte.

"I can honestly say that January 6th was the saddest day in the history of our country," Howell wrote. "After re-educating myself and abiding by the terms of my pre-trial and advice of my attorney, I have learned so much and have grown to regret my actions that day even more so."

In her letter to the judge, Annie Powell explains that she started following Trump after getting into real estate and reading "Midas Touch.”

Later, after volunteering for the GOP, she was invited to "an exclusive, invitation only, dinner with Eric Trump."

Annie Powell now: "January 6th, 2021 was supposed to be a day of democratic protest, patriotism and unity. Instead, it was an egregious instance of extremism. It was a riot."
