This is now being reported by the Ukrainian government as a downed Ukrainian Su-27 that was shot down by Russian anti-air missile batteries in the Kiev suburbs. Ukraine has lost control of the skies over its own capital city.
That’s what CNN is reporting. Reuters is saying the opposite. Who knows.
