Peace and security in Africa remains a key pillar for socio economic development in Africa. Zimbabwe and Botswana have long stand relations in the security sector. Lets stand strong in defending our countries. The ever involving nature of terrorists and cyber crimes has grown.
Grateful for the support Botswana showed in trying to maintain peace in Mozambique and region. Its important that we scale up efforts in this respect with greater sense of urgency.

The meeting discussed and looked into a wide array of items.
We will leave no stone unturn in implementing outcomes we have signed 10 additional instruments thats is water, child protection, tourism, youth development, diplomatic partners, search and rescue agreement, agriculture and development, double taxation avoidance among others.
Totalling 30. Instruments on child protection is a vehicle to protect our child. Cooperation on water will facilate on shared water resources.

Matter on cattle at border will be dealt with we have established a joint on committee on livestock rustling and other cross border crimes. This will prevent combat and eradicate cross border crimes.

This 3rd binational commision has given us time to reflect on the relations and renewed commitment to deepen cooperation going forward. Applaud ministers and officials for hosting successful meeting.
It has become customary that at the conclusion we witness the signing of agreements and MOUs this is reflective of how we disciver areas we need to work on for the purpose of progressing and uplifting the lives of our people

Sets agenda for broader cooperation. The agreements must mark the beginning of concrete programmes. Our cooperation keeps growing and we must see the full implementation of these agreements.
Burden is of officials and ministers as Presidents we supervise you implement. Lets strive to do more for the benefit of our two countries lifting people from poverty so they also enjoy an improved quality of life during our time.

I welcome you all members of the Press. As we are in the middle of our By-elections and generally in these circumstances, events move pretty fast.

There is need therefore, that we keep members of the press and the public updated on what the Party has done, is doing and will do to the end of the elections
Prior to primaries that the party consucted to select candidates for the parliamentary seats and local authority representatives.The Party held provincial elections in line with itd rules and regulations based on the party constitution.
The 3rd session of the Zim-Botswana Bi-National Commission (BNC) was opened in Vic Falls Monday with the 2 nations seeking to ratify bilateral agreements that will promote cooperation.
The two countries have 43 MoUs that they want to sign and 23 of them are not yet complete.
The platform will help the countries to speed up the process towards finalization of the agreements.
The meeting started Monday and will run until Friday. President Mnangagwa and President Mokgweetsi Masisi will officiate at the ceremony.

Zimbabwe is targeting to transform the tourism industry into a US$6 billion dollar industry within the next few years and has prioritised attraction of investment into the sector which is a major foreign currency earner.
Government has also prioritised improving Victoria Falls into an attractive destination and a financial services hub with President Mnangagwa having officially opened the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange just last week.
Showcasing their films as well as documentaries at the expo are; Great zimbabwe University (GZU), Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT), National University of Science and technology (NUST), Midlands STATE University (MSU) and Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC).
