I welcome you all members of the Press. As we are in the middle of our By-elections and generally in these circumstances, events move pretty fast.

There is need therefore, that we keep members of the press and the public updated on what the Party has done, is doing and will do to the end of the elections
Prior to primaries that the party consucted to select candidates for the parliamentary seats and local authority representatives.The Party held provincial elections in line with itd rules and regulations based on the party constitution.

We are however, delighted that members of the Party in all provinces have demonstrated maturity by placing the interests and programmes of the Party ahead of theirs.
This has been overwhelmingly demonstrated by the successful organisations of the Presidential rallies at Epworth and Marondera including rallies in Bulawayo and Masvingo.
As commissariat, we remain grateful for the support we received from party members across all wings and our supporters at all the places where party rallies and meetings have been held to date.
The Party is not only appealing for support at the forth coming by elections but it is sharing information on what the Government has done and achieved so far in all the Provinces

The Party leadership has shared success stories in relation to;
-Practical programmes dealing with strengthening of food security at national level going down to the household level. The achievements in this regard are remarkable.
- Construction of dams and sinking of boreholes to boost water supply for the domestic use and agricultural purposes has a national character
- Huge investments in the mining, energy and manufacturing sectors that eill unleash massive economic activities resulting in employment creation and secondary industries
- These projects are endorsement of the second republic's re engagement efforts.
- Government is embarking the regularisation of the informal settlements and as already announced residents will be given title deeds.

It is important that people of this country know and understand that the philosophy and beliefs of the ruling party and gvnt is that the citizens of this country should take the responsibility for building and developing their country.

It is therefore important for the Party and its entire membership and supported to understand that while we engage through rallies and other big meetings our focus is very much located at local level where we engage with the people.

This Saturday we are holding a Presidential rally at Mbizo in Kwekwe. We invite everyone to attend so we can share with them the progress that Zim is making under the wise leadership pf President Cde Dr E.D Mnangagwa
HIS EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT E.D MNANGAGWA AND BOTSWANA'S PRESIDENT MOKGWEETSI MASISI OFFICIATING AT THE THIRD SESSION OF THE ZIMBABWE-BOTSWANA BI-NATIONAL COMMISSION

Happy that the event is being held in Victoria Falls. The agenda of the meeting will deepen and consolidate relations between Botswana and Zimbabwe. Honoured as a Province to host the event.
The 3rd session of the Zim-Botswana Bi-National Commission (BNC) was opened in Vic Falls Monday with the 2 nations seeking to ratify bilateral agreements that will promote cooperation.
The two countries have 43 MoUs that they want to sign and 23 of them are not yet complete.
The platform will help the countries to speed up the process towards finalization of the agreements.
The meeting started Monday and will run until Friday. President Mnangagwa and President Mokgweetsi Masisi will officiate at the ceremony.
ZANU PF candidate in the 26 March by-election is Cde Nyasha Masoka for the House of Assembly Seat which fell vacant following the passing on of late National Hero Cde Biggy Matiza
Cde Tino Machakaire the Mashonaland East Provincial Political Commissar is introducing guests. Cde D. Garwe, the Mashonaland East Provincial Chairman is leading the Provincial Executive.
Zimbabwe is targeting to transform the tourism industry into a US$6 billion dollar industry within the next few years and has prioritised attraction of investment into the sector which is a major foreign currency earner.
Government has also prioritised improving Victoria Falls into an attractive destination and a financial services hub with President Mnangagwa having officially opened the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange just last week.
Showcasing their films as well as documentaries at the expo are; Great zimbabwe University (GZU), Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT), National University of Science and technology (NUST), Midlands STATE University (MSU) and Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC).

The expo is calling on young people to use their creativity and imagination to create short films that create awareness and motivate action towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In recognition of the National tree planting day, the President has planted an orange tree at Masvingo Primary School

We are humbled by your presence to officiate at the national tree planting day. Zim environmental assets includes trees, water, minerals among several others. The achievement of Vision 2030 depends on the utilisation of our assets.
