The main reason for going to some country like Ukraine (with an alien language) is not fees alone as some opinion would state... The bigger cause is lack of seats due to Rijadvasuns.. And even fares have to be reasonable.. 1-1.5 lakhs is "Vulture-Fare"..
The whole argument that these students DESERVED THEIR FATE is utter snobbery, contempt for them & condoning the nonsense in India.. Even the DOMS PM says "Study in India" when his policies drive students abroad @sri9011
This nonsensical govt warning is being bandied about by many... Russia was predicted to invade Ukraine on 16th.. GOI gives advisory on 15th.. thats a warning?.. LOL! Thats like a bad student studying all he can just outside the exam hall...

It is utterly hypocritical and arrogance that you even make such a statement @narendramodi... Students dont go to Ukraine or Burkina Faso because they want to travel abroad.. they go because India DEPRIVES them seats.. and you worsened the situation
In war-torn Afghanistan... Modi had no problem building projects and exporting Indian labour...as if that land was paradise...

Most of these students (deprived of seats in India due to Reservations) go to foreign universities with sizeable bank loans.. Subjecting them to "Vulture-fares" like 1.5 lakhs from Ukraine is nothing short of criminal..
In fact.. Not just "Vulture-fares" from Ukraine.. but even otherwise.. @JM_Scindia @NarendraModi have allowed airlines to operate like a Mafia with mind-boggling fares.. and fleecing for seats too.. Its a criminal gang..
First bring back those who want to be helped.. worry about costs later.. Im sure most of the students are sensible and not beggars like thookiyas.. they will agree to pay a reasonable fare.. now or later.. govt can keep track of them..

The Ukraine invasion was predicted for Feb 16 * GOI was giving advisory on Feb.15? Thats how dumb GOI is?.. LOL!.. Still.. how many can you evacuate in 9 days? All said & done.. Cursing students for their situation implying they DESERVED IT is UNCALLED FOR

Last 2 weeks GOI gave notices to Indians stuck in Ukraine?.. How do you expect all of 20000 Indians (assuming max of 400 in one plane) to be evacuated in 2 weeks?..
Even assuming all Indians in Ukraine may not come to India but rush to other countries in Europe somehow.. How many EU countries would let them in? India is the only fool that lets in refugees by millions.. @rvaidya2000
