ISRAEL PALESTINE CONFLICT

This has to be the longest standing conflict dating way back to the end of WW2. After the allies had won the war against €vil man Hitler who killed thousands if not millions of Jews, it was decided they needed a land of their own, to avoid such again

Thus the allies under the leadership of the alpha male the US came to the conclusion that an independent state for the Jews was to be established. But here was the problem where would it be established, all land was already occupied. But America being America, always had a plan

The plan, takeover what was formally known as Palestine & establish the state of Israel. It was a violent process, that by 1948 almost 80% of what used to be Palestine land was now Israel land. And thus the Israel Palestine conflict began...

But of coz mainstream media will have you believing it's a war about terror but the reality is it's about land. The Palestinians wanting their land back & the Israelis refusing with the land

LIBYA INVASION

Before we get into it, a glimpse into what life was like under Gaddafi in Libya. The other version you've already been given by CNN & co about how Libya was hell. It was such a hell that, petrol costed close to nothing, free accomodation, education & health...

Yes it was under authoritarian rule, but for what they lacked in political freedom they were compensated in economic benefits, much like modern day China. Comparing with the rest of Africa, this was a far better deal, but alas the Libyans were convinced otherwise by the CIA...

Boom they were hooked on the Arab Spring bandwagon, a period of protests in Arab countries, as Gaddafi tried to suppress these protests, thus gave America & co the perfect excuse to do what they always do, invade sovereign lands in the name of justice...

Thus the UN security council came to the resolution a NO FLY ZONE was to be imposed on Libya (should be noted SA voted in favor) & thus the bombardment of Libya by NATO began, even after Gaddafi had been killed. To this very day, Libya has never been stable...

But the most interesting fact about this is that, this all came about after Gaddafi had made the necessary steps to establish an independent African currency backed by his oil & gold reserves, that would result in the US dollar becoming no more valuable than the Zim dollar...

In Africa that is, the US dollar would no longer be the trading currency. This move would have helped a lot of African countries caught in the vicious cycle of debt to the Bretton Woods institutions (World Bank & IMF). And guess what, the gold was never recovered...

NORTH SOUTH KOREA CONFLICT

Oh yes, we can't talk about major conflicts without talking about the most villified man since Hitler, Kim Jong-un. The modern world mad man as he has been described, but again, when you go deep into it, he isn't that bad as he has been made to be...

Let's go historical again, at the beginning of the Korean war in the 1950s. It came about as a tussle between Russia & the UN (but really the US), as the UN proposed Korea be one sovereign state under the guidance of the UN to which Russia was against...

Why? Because Russia feared that with more countries around & near it under the guidance of the UN (US in disguise) it would be prone to attacks as Poland had already aligned with the UN. So it was decided instead of one Korea, they'd be 2, one loyal to the Soviet & the other UN

But the North was convinced since it was the better one in terms of military power it could invade the South & force it to adopt the communist way. To which the UN (US in disguise) intervened & assisted in the repelling of the Northeners...

Resulting in the resolution by the UN to put a no man's land aka demilitarized zone between the 2 countries, if either party crosses this "line" it can be regarded as a declaration of war. Thus over the years, they've always been tensions between the two sides...

South Korea has become the US' ally, allowing it to build military bases & have special military training exercises. In light of this, the North has been arming itself as well, in case it gets attacked, it now has nukes. And we all know the US don't want anyone else except it...

To own nukes. Thus the constant persecution of North Korea, to this date it is the most sanctioned country, yes more than Cuba. They've literally run out of sanctions to impose on North Korea, but the country though not thriving it's surviving...

That's the history behind some of the major conflicts in the world. You may wonder why I excluded Afghanistan, that one is a whole topic on it's own. It needs it's own threat to summarize it.
