Your dose of heart-warming news this Monday morning comes with a side of wholesomeness because President Volodymyr Zelensky voiced Ukraine's Paddington & we can't quite believe it 🥺️
The leader – who has remained alongside his people in the capital to fight against the Russian invasion, posting defiant videos from the streets – was a comedian and actor and even appeared on the country’s version of Strictly before he moved into politics.
(Yes, really!)
We can only imagine Ukrainian film fans are all across Zelensky’s role as the sparky bear, but the rest of us are just making that solid, and totally game-changing realisation today 🐻
That was helped along yesterday by Bonneville (@hughbon) – who played Henry Brown in the classic film – who wrote on Twitter: ‘Until today I had no idea who provided the voice of @paddingtonbear in Ukraine.'
The reactions were *so* wholesome, with Sam Freedman writing:
‘With Strictly and voicing Paddington on his CV the only way Zelensky could appeal to middle Britain more would be if it turned out he played Superintendent Hastings in the Ukrainian version of Line of Duty.’

#Mood is the compelling new BBC Three series that will show the glamourous yet toxic side of what it means to be a social media influencer🤳🏾– with Nicôle Lecky leading the charge.
We’ve put together a few reasons why you'll love it 💅🏾

Amongst their nine children, Lev and his wife Olga do not have a son called Simon.
Shimon Hayut seduced women around the world on Tinder under the guise of a jet-setting diamond mogul, and allegedly conned them out of all their money with the excuse of his enemies being after him.
Ahead of the release of The Batman, @Rishma_Dosani caught up with casting director Lucy Bevan (@CastingLucy) who – along with Cindy Tolan – was responsible for putting the talented cast together 🤩
‘So my role as casting director is to help the director of the film realise their vision for who should be in the film, and cast all of the actors,’ Lucy told us, emphasising how much secrecy was involved in the project from the very beginning.
‘From reading the blank scripts, I help the director decide who would be best in each role, and get the actors to be in it.'
