We welcome the first steps towards normalcy as mask mandates are rescinded in schools across the country.

Now we begin the long journey to restore our student's lives back to complete normalcy. #EducatorsForNormalcy #UrgencyOfNormal

Normal means NEVER bringing back mask mandates ever again.

Normal means no quarantines or school closures.

Normal means no testing and tracing.

Normal means no separating children by vaccination status (or even asking about it) for any reason.

These are personal health decisions and in the case of children, they are decisions that should be a choice made by their parents in consultation with their personal doctors.

Speaking of parents - all parents must once again be welcomed into school buildings. Parents are an essential part of any school community and they should NEVER be banned from entering the building where their child spends their days.

All school activities should resume as normal:
- lunch & snack time
- group activities
- field trips
- band
- athletics
- assemblies and other large events like graduations
- no covid-19 vaccine mandates for student athlete or extra-curricular activities

Normal means Normal.

It means going to school like it is Fall of 2019.
