Hey y'all! Guess who is reporting from the White House #BlackHistoryMonth event?! Stay tuned directly updates!

Full house today at the White House #BlackHistoryMonth celebration. Lots of hugs and elbow bumps like a family reunion. So far I spotted at least a dozen CBC lawmakers, Rev. Al, Rev Jesse Jackson Jr, Star Jones, Divine 9 leadership and civil rights leaders.

Before the program starts, I'm sneaking in a selfie. We're expecting POTUS, VP #KamalaHarris and more to speak. #BlackHistoryMonth

FLOTUS Jill Biden is warmly greeting many including newest CBC member Congresswoman Shontel Brown, Star Jones, Donna Brazile, Rep. Terri Sewell.

Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr is one of the most popular greeting spots. Rep. Maxine Waters went straight to him as many in the room have. #BlackHistoryMonth

Kateo Hilton, 18 years old, is now speaking about his community leadership as a mentor to young Black boys. Standing ovation and lots of cheers at the mention of him going to HBCU Delaware State. #LivingBlackHistory

POTUS saluted all of the high ranking cabinet officials and gave a special shout out to Delaware State President Tony Allen.

POTUS ticking through a list of initiatives and accomplishments benefitting & targeting the Black community: HBCU investment, Black maternal health, small business investments, tackling racial disparities.
Also pledges the admin is investigating the "cowardly bomb threats".
