On the day of the invasion the industry's main lobbying group, @APIenergy, released a statement saying it was now "critical" for the US to allow more pipelines, drilling, and fracking.

UPDATE: The Indiana legislature has been working on a bill to ban "Critical Race Theory" in K-12 education

The legislature is DOMINATED by Republicans and it seemed inevitable it would pass.

But this week, the bill was defeated.

2. Trouble started in January when, at a Senate hearing, history teacher Matt Bockenfeld objected to a provision requiring him to be "impartial" about all subjects.

He said he was teaching about the rise of Nazism and would not be neutral about Nazis

3. Senator @ScottABaldwin, the bill's author, told Bockenfeld he needed to be "impartial" when teaching Nazism and shouldn't "take a position" on Nazis.

Outrage ensued and the committee canceled their vote.

1. Over the weekend, two members of Congress (@RepMTG and @RepGosar) attended a white nationalist convention

GOP leaders looked the other way

So did dozens of prominent corporations supporting their campaigns

The ADL calls Fuentes a "Nazi-sympathizer."

Earlier this month, Fuentes said he was seeking "total Aryan victory."

Fuentes is also known for his anti-Semitic comments.

3. At this year's AFPAC conference, Fuentes praised Russia's invasion of Ukraine, at one point asking for “a round of applause for Russia."

He also reprised the white nationalist slogan "you will not replace us" and appeared to complement Hitler.

The "Don't Say Gay" bill passed the Florida House by a vote of 69-47. Seven Republicans joined Democrats in opposing the measure.
The Florida House also passed the "STOP Woke" act by a vote of 74-41

That bill prohibits schools OR private businesses from engaging in instruction/training that makes anyone "feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress" on account of their race

1. A far-right website that LAUNCHED 36 DAYS AGO is already more popular on Facebook than the Washington Post

The DC Enquirer has executed an audacious scheme to manipulate Facebook's algorithm and ad platform

And @Meta is letting them get away with it

They have names like Keep Texas Red ("We are an independent group of concerned Texans who want to help keep Texas from flipping blue") and Conservative Americans
