To try and stabilise prices the USA has agreed to release 60 mill barrels of oil from their reserves.
Oil prices have already risen to $100 dollars a barrel and could hit $130 a barrel.

It’s the 4th time since 1974 that the USA has taken this step.
Let’s watch this space.
I am told that Russian crude is being sold at an $18 dollar discount as traders are unwilling to commit given the reluctance to pick it up and trade it.
