BREAKING NEWS: Chair @SenatorDurbin has notified the Judiciary Committee that the hearings to consider the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court will begin on Monday, March 21, and will last four days.
The hearings will begin on Monday, March 21, with statements from Committee members, the individuals who will introduce Judge Jackson, and Judge Jackson herself. Questioning will begin on Tuesday, March 22 and continue on Wednesday, March 23.
The Committee will also meet in closed session on Wednesday, March 23 to discuss any matters relating to the nominee’s FBI background investigation. The Committee does this for every Supreme Court nominee, regardless of whether the background investigation has raised concerns.
The hearings will conclude on Thursday, March 24, with testimony from the American Bar Association (ABA) and additional outside witnesses.

Meadows' involvement in the events leading to Jan 6 isn't up for debate. Our investigation found that, without a doubt, he asked Acting AG Rosen to initiate baseless election fraud investigations on behalf of Trump—and this "Big Lie" helped incite the insurrection.

KEY POINTS ⬇️
.@JudiciaryDems found that from 12/29-1/11, Meadows asked DOJ to:

1) Investigate various discredited claims of election fraud in Georgia that the Trump campaign was unsuccessfully pursuing in court;
2) Investigate false claims of “signature match anomalies” in Fulton County, Georgia, even though Republican state elections officials had made clear “there has been no evidence presented of any issues with the signature matching process.”

Republicans hold such strong opinions about the Biden Admin’s immigration policies, it almost seems that they would like us to return to the immigration policies of President Trump.

Let's take a look at how those policies were inhumane, unlawful, & weakened our border security⬇️
The Republican Administration cruelly separated nearly 4,000 children from their families between July 1, 2017 and January 20, 2021 under their “zero-tolerance” policy, causing permanent trauma to these children.
The Republican Administration shut down legal avenues for vulnerable families and children fleeing persecution, leaving them stranded and at the mercy of criminal organizations.

There was a claim made in today's exec meeting that Vanita Gupta has the "potential of being the most dangerous nominee to the Department of Justice." Yet she has broad support from law enforcement and conservatives.

Why do Republicans keep attacking qualified women of color?
If the fear is "defund the police," Vanita Gupta does NOT support defunding the police. But you know what does? Voting against the state and local aid in the American Rescue Plan, which included support for law enforcement. And who voted against the ARP? Every Senate Republican.
Take it from the FOP’s executive director, Jim Pasco: “You know what defunding the police is? Holding up the state and local aid bill, the COVID package. That’s de-facto defunding the police. A vote against that legislation is a vote to defund the police.”
