As a BEGINNER Data Analyst, to get the best while learning, you should have a strong reason for learning and give it the right level of commitment and dedication.
Be sincere with yourself and ask the following questions...

1. What can make it impossible for me to learn this skill?
2. What are my potential source of distractions?
3. Who will be my accountability partner?
4. What are the basic concepts every beginner should know?
5. How long do I have to learn the basics?
6... and many more

1. What Can Make it Impossible for YOU to learn the skill:
Yes, you understand yourselves better than others. You also know what has stopped you from learning in the past, you understand your struggles and can easily identify this as well.

Once you have this written down, it will be easier to find a way to address them or seek help where needed.
Your accountability partner can also watch out for these things and bring them to your attention.

2. What Are Your Potential Sources of Distractions?
This is different from the first question. there is no distraction if you couldn't start learning.
Distraction will always come and show up in different forms. List those you can identify today.

3. Who Will Be My Accountability Partner
Hey, don't just go out there and be asking, come and be my Mentor. first, seek for who you believe can hold you accountable for your commitment.
they will be helpful in addressing your challenges and potential distractions

4. What Are The Basic Concepts Every Beginner Should Know?
While there is no standard list of basic concepts every data analyst beginners should know today, an aggregate of 4 to 5 different sources from web search can give you a better picture.
You can also get secondary input

5. The last thing I am going to talk about is the TIME factor.
I have seen people learning data analysis for 2 years and they are still beginners, trying to navigate their way, and not even sure of what they have learned or know today.

Set for yourself a realistic timeline

6. PRACTICE!!! this is not a question, it is a command. You cannot learn Data Analysis by watching videos or staying in a class or having someone guiding you.
The day you commence learning is the time you build your first project. That is your learning evidence
