The 10 men linked to the fatal shootout and arrests in #rosettenville last week are at the Johannesburg magistrates court. @motso_modise ImageImage
The men will not be applying for bail.
Their lawyers have also flagged that the men are being kept at a prison in Pretoria instead of The Johannesburg prison as initially agreed. #rosettenville
The state tells the court that the reason why they were moved is because of the renovations at the Johannesburg prison. The head of the prison felt it would not be safe to keep the men there. @motso_modise
The matter has been postponed to the 8th of March for further investigations. #rosettenville
The NPA’s Phindi Mjonondwane addresses the nationalities of 4 of the accused. @motso_modise
