@aravosis Individual NATO members, by themselves or with others, may choose to get involved, but are unlikely to do so without NATO okay.

Why?

Because if Russia attacks a NATO member acting on its own, well, maybe other NATO members will invoke Article V, or maybe not.

1/
@aravosis Seriously, NATO member(s) choosing to declare - and enforce - a No Fly zone over Ukraine 🇺🇦 would be a major escalation and a Big Deal.

That requires political approval from each country, as is correct.

@bluevirginia Since they are already on the Court with life tenure, etc., frankly, you’re not helping - at all - by complaining about the past.

Seriously, @TheDemocrats nominated @HillaryClinton, worst candidate ever, highest negative name recognition in recorded history.

1/
@bluevirginia @TheDemocrats @HillaryClinton @HumaAbedin left no tip at Chipotle Maumee Ohio Monday April 13, 2015.

Remember, tips are good karma and karma never lies.

Hillary skipped Wisconsin and lost the election.

No surprise.

2/
@bluevirginia @TheDemocrats @HillaryClinton @HumaAbedin Respectfully, if you expect the other side of the aisle to acknowledge election results and look forward to the future, rather than wallowing in past grievances, you need to do the same yourself.

Seriously, the final comment in your tweet diminishes your credibility.

@DanLamothe⁩, ⁦@CENTCOM⁩ can best help by making it easier to request Letters of Recommendation for SIV and to request P2 referrals.

Biden’s pick to lead military in Middle East says U.S. has a ‘moral obligation’ to help Afghans left behind washingtonpost.com/national-secur…
@USACEHQ has created a simple system that at least intends to try to be helpful, though tracking the next steps after confirmation of employment under a USACE-supported contract is still pending.

@afghanevac

2/
There are people of good will trying to help but require an active organization at @CENTCOM with whom to communicate about how to validate claimed employment or for current officials to prepare Letters of Recommendation, etc. for SIV, P2.

Will CENTCOM walk the walk?

@joshscampbell

Here, Mr. @Comey should have put his duty to America and @TheJusticeDept above his duty to the @FBI.

This is a significant failing among senior and other leaders throughout our government, unfortunately.

It’s about America, not them or their organizations.

1/
Thank you so much for your book.

Re pages 234-236, I think Mr. Comey should have gone to Deputy Attorney General @SallyQYates so that Both would have insisted that @AGLynch recuse after tarmac-meeting @BillClinton PHX June 2016.

Maybe she went along, maybe not, but he asked. 2/
I appreciate your discussion re the so-called “deep state,” including denials pages 166 and 202.

On the other hand, what you describe on page 39 certainly looks like the equivalent of a deep state.

@truthisbest5 @shawnjvandiver @tathompsonKS @TedMartin1775 @CallsignBarbie @USArmy @FortBelvoirVA @FortMeadeMD @SkepticalJAG @NavyTimes @WRBethesda @Reuters @AP Okay, remember, this is a joke.

Decades ago, the Soviet Union decided to launch an operation to Win!

They knew that they couldn’t confront the USA and the West directly, so they had to confront us indirectly.

So they bypassed direct combat power.

1/
@truthisbest5 @shawnjvandiver @tathompsonKS @TedMartin1775 @CallsignBarbie @USArmy @FortBelvoirVA @FortMeadeMD @SkepticalJAG @NavyTimes @WRBethesda @Reuters @AP Instead, they focused on what used to be known as routine support functions, computers, pay, personnel records, IG, travel, DTS, etc., etc.

They had their operatives join those functions, with instructions to create an organizational culture to serve Soviet objectives.

@truthisbest5 @shawnjvandiver @tathompsonKS @TedMartin1775 @CallsignBarbie @USArmy @FortBelvoirVA @FortMeadeMD @SkepticalJAG @NavyTimes @WRBethesda @Reuters @AP In other words, to go out of their way to cause deliberate dysfunction, forcing leadership to spend more of their 168 hours / week on internal engagements, self-licking ice cream cone, etc., and less in confronting our adversaries.

This includes the pay issues.

@washingtonpost⁩ ⁦@sarahellison⁩ ⁦@alice_crites⁩ ‘forgot’ to mention “reckless disregard” re falsity.

1/

Sarah Palin’s libel case against New York Times opens in Manhattan courtroom, a culture clash with lasting legal potential washingtonpost.com/media/2022/02/…
“Reckless disregard” NYT v. Sullivan (1964) was the second part of “actual malice” and is why @nytimes will lose and @SarahPalinUSA will win.

Issue is targets on congressional districts, Not representatives or people.

2/
@nytopinion not bothering to check the Times’ own supposedly factual reporting re the exact factual issue is clearly “reckless disregard as to whether it was false or not.” Sullivan (1964)

WaPo should know this.

@LuisMorenolg @WendellAlbright @pigjowls Thank you.

I am reasonably confident that many people have taken positions on such topics without reviewing the materials, which is why I think curriculum transparency can actually be helpful to address any misconceptions on the part of the public.

1/
@LuisMorenolg @WendellAlbright @pigjowls CRT has become a shorthand for considering new perspectives on racial and other issues in our country, both now and in the study of our history.

I have found that effective training does make me uncomfortable, but the introspection is valuable.

2/
@LuisMorenolg @WendellAlbright @pigjowls Best example is unconscious bias training - excellent!

In my experience, all effective training must be well thought out.

However, the newly energized DEI consultant industry, like any other, has varying degrees of quality and effectiveness.
