At least 4 missiles have to be fired to achieve a hitting probability of 99% for an AD system with a 50 % hit rate.

Which means :

I specify that this is NOT for hypersonic missiles, which are very difficult to intercept.

180 incoming missiles x 4= 720 defensive missiles needed
To take out 1/2 of the incoming missiles ( for an AD with 50% hit rate)

Let’s say Israeli AD has a 50 % hit rate ( which I doubt, it’s more like 20 %, I'm being generous here )
This means, they need 720 defensive missiles to take out 1/2 of incoming missiles.
They had 720 missiles to take out 1/2 of Iranian missiles ?

when he said that this means a direct war with USNATO, as the missiles are operated by NATO, not Ukraine, and Russia will respond accordingly.
