{PROPHECY THREAD 🧵}
There's an extra dimension to the prophecy about the Muslim conquest of Yemen, Greater Syria, and Persia that hasn't been shown by anybody I've seen so far, and it can be explored just by looking at a map of the time of the prophecy.
If we look at the previous map we can see the Byzantine empire in purple and the Sassanids in orange. The question is: where are the Muslims? In fact, the land the Muslims controlled at the time of this prophecy IS marked in green. It is only Medina. See if you can spot it.
Keeping this map in mind, lets also look at another map showing how much land the Prophet ﷺ said would be conquered by the Muslims in short time.
You see that right. While the Muslims controlled a city the size of a pixel on the world map, which was in the middle of being besieged by the way, the Prophet ﷺ prophesied that they would conquer all of the land in green. Egypt is included as well because of another prophecy.
The prophecy basically states that the Muslims would conquer most of the Sassanian empire and take some of the richest lands from the hands of the Byzantines, both being superpowers that survived for centuries by this point.
Another thing to notice is that the Prophet ﷺ implicitly prophesied the unification of the Arab tribes. This is amazing because the Arabs have literally NEVER been unified as one for their entire history before Islam.
They were bickering, autonomous tribes and were too much trouble for any large empire to conquer. Nobody could expect anything like this to happen, and yet the Prophet ﷺ knew and told us about it before it came to be.
Relatively shortly after this was made, the Muslims would end up conquering these lands and more. The same people who were there for this prophecy, the companions, saw this prophecy come true right before their eyes during the Rashidun rule.
This is why historian Barnaby Rogers states about this prophecy:
"You have to remember, that the two great superpowers were the Byzantine empire [Eastern Roman empire] and Sassanid Persia, they were the dominant powers. If you’re putting it in a modern parlance it’s a bit like the Eskimos taking on the United States of America and Russia."

“The Last Hour would not come until fire emits from the earth of Hejaz, [a fire] which would illuminate the necks of the camels of Busra.” Sahih Muslim 2902.
Let's first establish what Hijaz and Busra are.
In the first image, the area of Hejaz is highlighted in dark green. In the next image, the city of Busra has a red pin on it.
Notice how the area around Medina is in Hejaz. Then, notice how Hejaz is hundreds of kilometers away from Busra.
